I dont think we have ever been to WDW when it was this crowded.... We are hitting MK today and plan to get there right before opening... I hope we can ride our 3 or 4 must do's before the crowds decend...

Weather has been wonderful.. chilly for sure.... cold at times.. but no real rain which is great. Cold is fine as long as your not wet.

So if your headed to the World next week, bring lots of fleece and patience, you will need both!

:sunny: Thanks for the report, have fun. :crowded: don't let it get to you, just think your in WDW.

Just think--you are not sitting home looking at snow! Even with Christmas coming--a crowded day at WDW sounds terrific! Good luck and have fun!

Wow, we are scheduled to go this week next year and I was afraid of this. I am going to go expecting loads of people and hopefully we will still get to do lots of stuff. My Dh's family says this is the only week they can go!!!!! We usually go off peak times and this is the first time with his family. Guess we will have to make the best of it next year. Have fun, guess I would rather be there too than here!

We just returned from WDW and the crowds were great!! Only about a 5 minute wait for attractions if even that!! However we did encounter some very rude people who were guests which is a shame for them to be so unhappy with themselves and the the rest of us in it especially @ this time of the year!! Castmembers were terrific!! However we were playing the stamp and pin pursuit game and were having fun until we got to the Polynesian Hotel where we ran into a extremely unfriendly manager @ the gift shop who was unconcerned about us after she asked if we were guests there and when we said "no"! she just walked away and didn`t bother to ask what we wanted!! We stood around waiting for her to come back and see what we wanted and finally one of my sons, walked up to her and asked if she didn`t want to assist us perhaps we could get the hotel manager to do it!! I really don`t know what her problem was but she really needed some "happy pills"!! Another son joked that I was wearing a Minnesota sweatshirt and maybe she didn`t like Minnesota for some reason!! But needless to say we did not get the pin but did get a stamp after we found somebody else to help us graciously!! All in all we`ll go back just not to that hotel!! :cheer2: ::MickeyMo

Thanks for the update! Planning to head down there today! Maybe we will stick to one of the smaller parks AK or MGM instead of the bigger ones. However DS seems to want to go to Epcot LOL

Have a great time!! We sure did!! Can`t decide if we are tired or just let-down from the excitement!

I just talked to my girlfriend today, she was in Epcot with her family. Said it looked like it would rain any moment and cold! Her son (my Godson) sent me his picture from the Kodak incredible picture lab. Have fun in Disney! your lucky your not up here with the NYC transit strike! We are arriving on Monday, hope it warms up a bit.

We are here too (BWV). And I agree, it is crowded. Just returned back to the room from the Osbourne lights at MGM. I've never seen so many people there before :earseek: . But it was lots of FUN!! It is a totally awesome thing to experience. We were standing right in the middle of it when they turned it on.

Returned last Thursday crowds where low. :Pinkbounc

The Crowds are expected to get worst the closer we get to Christmas Day, I expect Disney to Close the Parks in the next few days, likely this Saturday Dec 24th to Sunday Jan 1st.

Also don't count on the Fastpass system on some rides should the parks do close, as it will be so crowed that there won't be enough Fastpass return times to handle a full capacity crowd, (Test Track is a good example) rule of thumb is to get there early by 8 am or 9 am at the latest. pirate:

How will the crowds be through this Thursday, Dec 22?

The park that has the extra magic hours will liley be the worst park (Thurs should be Epcot) as all the Resorts are at full capacity now.

We're looking at next Dec 16-22, and my DH is now freaked out about the crowds. We just got back (Nov 29-Dec7) and the crowds level was perfect. Trying to decide whether to keep our days (so the kids don't miss any school and we get to go for 6 or 7 nights), or switch to earlier in the month and only go for 5 nights. Opinions?
