At SSR, how long a walk from Grandstand to Carriage House?

If this question has been answered before, I apologize.

I have heard and read many good things about the Grandstand at SSR and would like to try it for my trip early next year. How long a walk is it to Carriage House, Artist's Palette, and Turf Club?

SSR is my home resort. I have stayed in the Springs before and thoroughly enjoyed it. I use a cane for walking due to a bum knee but can handle relatively short distances.

From the closest building in the Grandstand I would say it is only about 5 minutes. The farthest building is maybe 7-8 minute walk. It is quite close and the pool and the gof course views look very nice. Have a great trip.

As I said, I will be going early next year but that is too far away . So I'm going in late Sept. and staying at the Boardwalk Villas.

I'm continuing my love affair with WDW by going as often as I can.

I was there 3 days ago and personally I think it's about half of that time.

If your end point is the Carriage House or Artist's Palette, building 8501-8836 in The Grandstand is actually the closest building in the entire resort. Even the buildings in The Springs are a little further away (including the walk thru the pool area.) At a leisurely pace, we could reach the Carriage House in about 2 minutes from that location.

But the furthest building in The Grandstand is at least twice the distance. I'd figure about 5 minutes when staying on the paths, which is an indirect route.

We've stayed at both The Springs and Grandstand and we found Grandstand to be the shorter walk to the actual Carriage House building. Springs might be closer to the pool, but we thought it was further to the restaurants.
