We will be at the Poly for the land portion of our Land/Sea trip. I have added 2 extra nights. Do they put the cruisers in one building or are we going to be scattered around the resort? I am wondering if I should request a specific longhouse....How is Samoa or Tokeleu? Thank you for your input!

I have the same question. We arrive about 4:00 p.m so booked the first night at the Hyatt. Then we added one extra day at the Poly also. I assume Disney will transfer us from Hyatt to Poly even though we are not on the normal scheduled arrival day.

How did you add on the extra days? Did you book thru DCL or WDW CRO? Our land package starts on Sunday and I'd like to add on the Saturday prior. Thanks.

DGF and I did L/S in December and we were in Fiji. We were all the way at the north end of the building and had a nice view of the beach outside of Luau Cove. I don't know if they alway put people in the same building, but I imagine that they would have to just place you based on availablity. Of course, we tried to talk the desk CM into an upgrade, but no luck. :earboy2: Have a great trip.

We booked our extra nights thru Dreams Unlimited. If codes are released they will apply the discount to what we have paid. I think you can also do this thru CRO. You can ask them to tie it to your existing ressie. We will have to check in twice but our TA thinks we will be in the same room.

For our land/sea we faxed in a request to be put in Tokelau and that's where we stayed.

Last August we were in Tokelau. Really enjoyed the location. We did not request any particular longhouse as we had never been there and didn't know one from the other.

Which longhouses would you recommend??? How are Samoa and or Tokelau? Others??? Thanks!

That was my 1st & only stay to the Poly. I wanted to stay in Tokela because of it's short walk to the Transportation & Ticket Center, the Great Ceremonial House, and the parking lot. The Volcano Pool was closed at the time so we were very close to the "small" pool. You should check out the DIS Resorts boards, there are a lot of helpful people there with A LOT of info about the Poly. With Land/Sea reservations, you can also fax in room requests.

we did one add-on night prior to our L/S and we had to change buildings - seperate reservations. I know we were in Toukelou for our L/S - can't remember which bldg for the first night sorry but I liked Toukelou location best

Just double check with Disney on this.....I know previously Disney would not take you via their transportation if you arrived on a non-scheduled day, but now they have that new Magical Express feature which might work for you. Call Disney and ask!!! Never assume anything...we all know how that goes!!!

We were in Tokelau last June on the front end of a land/sea. I called(directly to the Poly) and requested this bldg. 30 days in advance. I was told that they would not have "access" to our reservation until then to make request notations. I don't know if this made a difference or not since I have read of alot of cruisers being placed in that bldg. but it can't hurt to request what you want. We were very happy with this location :goodvibes and are planning to request the same for our upcoming land/sea this June.

We were in Tokelau in November. Great location to volcano pool, TTC, quiet pool and ceremonial house. We loved it! We had room 3913 which was a not a lagoon view but you could have fooled me. What a sight to wake up to - and we had a great view of Wishes from the stairs right outside our room. I would be thrilled to stay there again!!! Have fun!
