Well the DW and I are sitting waiting on a flight just having completed a 7 day vacation at SSR without the kids! We all were here in September so very little guilt over this trip...
So here's a quick recap:
Check-in was okay. Room wasn't going to be ready till later that day, but we knew odds were against us since we were arriving early. So we packed off to the park (AK to see Jungle Jingle).
When we returned that night, no worries, the room was ready. Our luggage took forever to arrive however as it took them over an hour to deliver luggage that arrived several hours earlier. Go figure.
Note - the wife was REALLY posititve through this and kept me in right frame of mind. We got Paddock and I wanted Congress Park, but at the end of it all I loved the room location - just like she said I might.
So much to share, but the highlights included MVMCP. We went last night and the crowds were SMALL! WOOHOO.
We also took multiple tours and all were great. Segway tour, Keys to Kingdom, Yuletide Fantasy, and did the Candlelight Processional at Epcot.
Well done on all these things.
We got hit twice by the dream squads so we got an extra hour in the MGM park one night and today we got the collectible lanyard and pin sets. Got both of these waiting for Rock N Rollercoaster!
So the trip was great - weather was nice, and DVC still rocks for us.
