At long last, Nicki & Todd are going back to WDW, LIVE!

Loved the reviews Nicki, its late on Thanksgiving night and I am in a food coma but you still had my mouth watering!

I was interested in your Cali Grill review, we ate there once, and were so underwhelmed we wished we had gone downstaris to Chef Mickey's!

Really, really want to try Cape May Clambake now, so glad you enjoyed the breakfast there, its our hands down favorite breakfast in WDW.

Thanks for the great reviews, hope you and Todd had a super Thanksgiving!

Nicki - I just read on another dining review that Via Napoli would not honor the TIW discount for alcohol. Did you encounter that too?

Not true, Todd had Prosecco and they took the 20% off of that

I'm the one that was denied the 20% TIW discount on my wine at Via Napoli. Now I feel kinda jipped . I guess I should have questioned it further when told no discount on alcohol, but our waiter was just so gosh darn cute :lmao: Oh well, my Rosa Regale was well-worth the full price of $9 I guess.

Oh, and congratulations on completing yet another awesome dining report Nicki! I love your reviews and am in awe that you are willing and able to do them live :worship:

Thanks again for the fabulous reviews and allowing me to "tag along" even if only via computer. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: You know me too well. Seriously, you would love those angel girls of Mary's. And the weather will still be great the first part of October and Romeo can work on his tan. ;)

I do dont I ;) The first part of Oct is where we are leaning but still do not have any dates for you yet....guess who I am waiting on :rolleyes1

Another great trip report from the masters of Disney World.Glad you guys had a wonderful trip.Monday is the big day for our dining reservations, lets hope they go well, lol.Hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy spoiling your new niece this Christmas.

Why thank you so much! I hope you get everything on your dining list and that it is all very yummy! Did you and the girls have a nice Thanksgiving?

This week just wasn't the same without your live reviews! Your reports are always wonderful and something I love to follow along. I feel the same way as Todd does about cruises but its flying for me. Yes, I won't step foot in an airplane. Its 18 hours for us to drive to Disney. We're leaving Wednesday bright and early - that is my oldest sons 22 and 21. I'm thinking they'll stick me in the back seat and bring along a roll of duct tape so they can't listen to me back seat drive. :rotfl2: My husband and youngest son are flying down Thursday. :rotfl2: Yes, we are crazy people. The boys and I are staying for 9 days (oldest son is attending baseball winter meetings hoping to land a job) and husband and son will have to fly home on Tuesday due to school). It should be an interesting week. How many dining reservations we will change remains to be seen!!!!!!!!! Its our first "family" trip back to world in 9 years. :cool1: Again, thanks for all the reviews and enjoy your Thanksgiving!!!!!!!

I cannot handle a long air flight either...a few hours is fine but more than that and I get claustraphobic! Hope you and the family hd a great holiday!

Thanks for the wonderful, amazing and entertaining Food reviews.:worship::surfweb::laughing::thumbsup2
That drink at AK looks really good and I have to try in a couple of days...:cool1::banana:

It was awesome, very cold and sweet...hope you are having a great trip to WDW!

Cruises are great! What is holding Todd back from going on one, if you don't mind me asking? I have been on 13 of them, and I can tell you any details that may put his mind at ease, depending on his reasoning. One thing's for sure...you could walk away from even a short cruise with TONS of food porn! :rotfl:

Have a Happy Thanksgiving! And thanks again for sharing all of your dining experiences with us! :)

I would LOVE to take a cruise but Todd has this fear of being so far out there and all the bad rap the cruises are getting in the last year or so is not helping my cause :lmao: I have showed him amazing pics of Karin and Tom's cruises (of the food of course) and that is not enough to convince him  Hope you had a great Turkey Day!

Thanks so much for your awesome report. Don't you just hate it how a week at work can crawl by, but a week at Disney is over in a blink? :sad2: We already have our ressies in place for our trip in February, but you have given me some ideas of new places to try...guess we'll just have to book another trip!!! :wizard:

Another trip is a great idea! Have a great time this Feb!

You forgot Prince ;) My son works there!! And we're going to a party tomorrow night at Kowloon. :rotfl:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to you and Todd and all your great readers!!!

Ah yes, Prince Pizza where all the kids parties were held and we had competitions on who could eat the most slices :rotfl2: How was Kowloon? Best chicken wings in all the world :thumbsup2

Did you guys have a great Thanksgiving?

Happy Thanksgiving to you and Todd:goodvibes

Aww, sorry to hear that. I know that most people say that airplanes are the safest way to travel...but I think boats are. I'm not going by any official statistics or anything, just that it seems we hear less often about something happening on a ship than on a plane, plus we have been travelling by boat in general for far longer than by airplane! I probably feel that way also because I have a fear of flying, even though I have flown several times. It's just not for me, and it's something I will only do if I have to (like to go to Europe, which I did one time). My dad worried for years about being out there in the middle of the Atlantic, and so my parents didn't take any cruises for many years, even though my mom wanted to so badly. Finally in 1989, we were on a family WDW vacation and we went on a 1-day cruise to nowhere, just 12 hours sailing in the ocean, on a big cruise ship. My dad loved it, as did the rest of us. The following summer, we took our first week-long cruise to Bermuda out of NY. My dad has claustrophobia and was very nervous that he would feel too confined since you are at sea for 40 hours straight, and can't get off the ship of course! He didn't feel that way at all when we were on the trip. That was in July 1990. Since then, my parents have been on over 20 other cruises! And my dad can't get enough of them! Sometimes they go twice in the same summer!

There are also a lot of cruises that leave from Florida or from Puerto Rico, and they go to islands that are very close to the port of departure. Many go out of Florida and to the Bahamas. Tons of them go out of Puerto Rico and around the islands of the Caribbean. One time we sailed from Puerto Rico, and our first port was St. Thomas. We cruised overnight and arrived in the morning, but when I spoke to a crew member, they told me it only takes 45 minutes to cruise from San Juan to St. Thomas, and they just circle around overnight. So you are never too far from land on those sailings. Just something for Todd to consider, maybe it would convince him to even take a short 3-night cruise out of Florida to the Bahamas before committing to a longer one! ;)

Thanksgiving was fun for us. We went down to Delaware to be with some family, and we stayed overnight at the Hilton Homewood Suites. My boys love staying in hotels so they had a blast! We had a lot of fun, I ate too much food and too much pie...it was a great success! :goodvibes I hope your Thanksgiving was wonderful as well. I'm just not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow after this nice long weekend, but we are only a few weeks away from Christmas break and we will have a little over a week off! :thumbsup2

Hi Kathy! So glad you enjoyed the reviews and banter! Happy Holidays to you and yours as well!

Great dining reviews! I say "reviews" because I just spent this entire rainy/snowy Saturday reading all of your dining reviews in reverse order. I enjoyed this one so much I decided to read your last one and then I couldn't stop, so I just kept going. :rotfl::rotfl: Your reports make me want to try all of the signature restaurants on our next trip! Thanks for entertaining me all day! :)

Hi Nicki,
We just got back and wanted to share WE LOVE Via Napoli. My husband loved it also but his first was Citricos, then Flying Fish and tie with VN.

My son, my husand and I love Kimonos too (we ate there 2 nights per 5yrs son request)....he loves california roll, edemame and miso soup.

I'll post more information on food later but still doing laundry, have to go Christmas shopping (eventhough we did alot at DTD... had to ship a big box of gifts) and work on the photopass editting.

I have to give people credit who takes pictures of the meal b/c I didn't get a chance, forgot or wanted to dig in the food:rotfl:

I tried to order the fried lobster but they said they don't make it. It was ok b/c we got the Louie Fulton's Ultimate Crab and Lobster Experience For Two - Our specialty combination: a feast of steamed crab and lobster, Alaska king crab, snow crab, dungeness crab and 1¼ lb. Maine lobster, with hash browns and grilled asparagus...it was really good.

Wanted to share, we would walk to around and my husband would say lets try to eat there and I did asked and they would sit us and my husband would give me a look why I bother planning for months and we could walk in a couple of restuarants:rotfl:
