At Least 3 Things ~7/24/08~

Update on DS20...he's fine...high as a kite...I almost wet my pants laughing right there in the office, he was being so funny. The girls told me he had been singing the Pokemon song, and when I went back they were having a discussion about what sounds the Pokemon make...And LOUD...boy was he being loud!!!

He has no memory of any of it, and now is wondering what other things the girls were making him do... Me, being supportive mom that I am said...

"Well Honey, they have to get their jollies somehow"

The best thing the girl told me was as he was getting high on the gas, he offered them all some...He just says he wanted to share :hippie:

That must have been a riot. And what a good boy that he was willing to share. :lmao: I'm glad to hear all went well.

ok so they ultrasound my leg and did not find a clot!!!! so that's the good news. what's the bad news?? what is it. maybe phlebitis????(sp) OMG does it ever hurt. my ankle looks like a baseball at the end of the day! he said lets try straight up asprin. not tylenol, not motrin, not aleve.....straight regular old asprin. so that's where i'm at.
just thought i'd update ya all! thanks for all the thoughts, prayers, pixie dust and hugs. i was glad to have you all with me today!

Thank goodness it wasn't a clot. Hopefully the aspirin will take care of it.

PO3, so glad it wasn't a clot! Hope that the asprin works.

Hope the asprin works and I am soo glad it is not clots.

Will post photos tomorrow of my lovely basement. The subflooring is a complete loss. Every single piece has mold that we have pulled up so far. And this is the section we didn't smell it at. This means the basement will not be used until we fix the water problem and that isn't going to happen anytime soon. My bedroom will now become the catch all for the furniture. This aught to make packing for WDW fun. :rotfl2:

The only good news is --- It wasn't my fault! :woohoo: I can be martyr free.

Decided I did not want to carry this into tomorrow.

This is the furniture that needs to go up in my room. You can see how pretty the walls were and our big screen TV that also needs to be stored someplace.

Here are some more toys to go upstairs. That long brown thing in the background is this really cool play table that my DH made with a high back to protect the walls.
You can see what pergowannbe needs to still be removed and the rest of the subflooring to be take up.

Here is how much is up right now. It is all ruined. There isn't a single piece that doesn't have the mold on it.
We don't know yet if the mold has made it to the built in shelving. They are resting on treated wood so we are hopeful it doesn't need to be removed. We don't know if they cut in the new drain tile that far into the room or not yet. We may lose it due to that.

Here is a close up of the bad bad mold that ruined my life.
:lmao: Actually, we are handling it pretty well. If I didn't have a swap a due, I wouldn't be stressing at all. This type of bad thing is so much easier to deal with then physical pains or emotional scarring. Give me something that just takes time & hard work and saving up the money anyday over the other stuff.

our big screen TV that also needs to be stored someplace.

I'll be happy to store it at my house.:rolleyes1 popcorn:: What?! :confused3 :rotfl2:

AWM, seriously though, what a mess. I am so sorry this happened to you guys.

oh awm so sorry you have to go through all this. but what a lovely basment you have! mine is a just a big old mess!!!! i have been so working at trying to put it together and throw out all the old crap!
love the color of your walls! hang in there!

Thanks. My DH picked the wall color. It went best with JD theme we were going to do. We ended up with a Halo theme. :lmao:

AWM, this totally stinks! It really is a beautiful room. I do think it was really sweet of Lisa to volunteer to take the big t.v. off your hands.

:happytv: Yup, I know it would have a good home with Lisa. :)

All toys & cushions are up in the bedrooms now. Just need DH to come home to help move the furniture pieces and wooden toy box. It is unbelievable how bad it smells like mold down there. My sinuses are not a happy place. Which reminds me, I had better go take some medicine.

Promise, I won't let this hold me up from getting the swap sorted and out in time.
