Well, after 16 days, I am finaly back on with a new Internet Provider.

Anyone ever considering Pipex......run a mile....don't touch em with a bargepole.

Their treatment of me as a customer of 2 years was disgusting....kicking me off their service for effectivley downloading too much on their "unlimited" package....deliberately giving me an invalid mac code to set back my migration another 10 days (I cant prove this - but its how it was).

I will be spreading the anti-pipex word from now on.

On a lighter note, my 2 girls are staying out at grandma's tonight (Saturday), which is the first time they wont be with us overnight. The sad thing is that we arent taking advantage of it and having a night out, as we are expecting a phone call to go get em in the middle of the night.

Oh and also while Ive been offline, we extended our Orlando vacation next march by 4 days and booked Virgin instead of Upgraded Thomson, saving our party of 7 some £1700, and the villa owner only wanted £50 a night extra. Superb.

Didn't notice you had gone  - just joking mate.

We have had a few problems recently too, customer service levels have dropped since all these 'call centres' were introduced and each time you ring you get a different person.

great to see you here again :)
we are with orange-which used to be freeserve, been with them for years and up to now no problems-fingers crossed!
Brilliant saving on your holiday, how did you manage that!

Well a combination of a couple of things....firstly the difference in price between Thomson and Virgin, then not having to pay for the premium upgrade with Thomson to get a reasonable luggage allowance, then moving the dates away from the weekend therefore avoiding weekend premium.

I will have to pay a little more for the extended car hire and accomodation, but nothing like the £1700.

Just shows what savings can be made by moving things around
