Just rereading a couple parts of this and I realized just how many typos I have throughout the whole thing. Hopefully after the holidays I can go back and do the editing work

Love your report! We're planning a trip to Tokyo Disney later this year I think, so this was super helpful. Did you find it hard to fit into Splash Mountain ? I'm a bit concerned about size and while I'm hoping/planning to lose weight you know how it goes.

The Beauty and the Beast ride looks AMAZING!!! I can't wait to ride it! Did it dump into a gift shop or was there any specific BatB merch that you saw? or with Haunted Mansion was there a gift shop like Memento Mori in DW?

Your Fantasy Springs pics are awesome, and I'm so glad you got to ride Frozen!! And the popcorn bucket is adorable! Bummer about you missing the other one - was it the Beauty and the Beast one that you were looking for?

I don't remember any difficulty fitting on Splash Mountain so I'm going to say no (at worst it was likely a snug fit but most rides were)... If it helps for comparison's sake, I'm 5'10 and about a size 16/18.
Most rides didn't exit into a dump shop which I found interesting. There were often shops nearby that had themed merchandise but not like here in the US. I did get a Beauty and the Beast book-shaped tin that had candies in it, I just can't recall which shop I grabbed it in. I did not do very good note-taking for my souvenirs sadly. I do feel like I saw a good bit of Beauty and the Beast merchandise around though especially since the ride is so popular.
I had wanted the Beauty and the Beast popcorn bucket but since I ended up buying the pretty lantern at a merch cart just outside of Fantasy Springs, I decided against it and was looking for the Tangled popcorn bucket. But alas I did not get the chance to get it.

We were honestly really lucky to get on Frozen, considering that we never managed to line up as early as we should have if we wanted a good shot at it.

Thank you! This is so helpful. Some of what I've read online said that there was a little notch in the middle of the seats on Splash and was hard for some folks to fit, but glad you didn't remember any difficulty!

So interesting about the dump shops! Thanks for the info. Bummer you didn't get the Tangled bucket! Though if you decide that you still really want it, I ended up buying both that one and the Beauty and the Beast one off of ebay for a not horrible price - and SUPER fast shipping. So that may be an option (and yea I think it's worth it )

I am a bit of a Frozen fan, so I think I'd probably gravitate towards that -- would I find that in both parks? We leave on the 20th -- getting excited!

We did a vaca package in October that included a popcorn bucket. The free bucket with your package is a very generic blue bucket that says "Vacation Package" on it - you don't get to choose from some of the really cool ones. You'd have to purchase those if you want any of them. We picked up our VP popcorn bucket in the park at a popcorn stand.
