Hi everyone!

We're Disneyland bound for Tuesday, April 21st through Sunday, the 26th--which gives us 6 full days of fun in the parks.

We can purchase 5-day parkhoppers...but does anyone have any advice of how we can treat the 6th day? I'd hate to pay full price for this lone extra day, but I'm not sure of what else we could do.
Are there 6-day discounts like at WDW?
Any line on discounted one-day passes?
OR...what would you do with a free day in the area, if we only go to Disney for 5 of them?

Thanks for any guidance!

Five days is plenty to do everything in both parks. It might be nice to take have a rest day somewhere in the middle of the trip. On our last trip, we spent a day at DTD. My DH, kids and I ended up driving down a day earlier than the rest of my family. We didn't want to start using our park passes until they got there. We started with breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. Then we did some shopping and saw a movie at DTD. We finished off with dinner at Rainforest Cafe. That night my parents and my sister arrived so the next day we started using our 3-day passes.

I would go to the Disney travel office in DTD and see what they can do for you once you are there. They have always been very helpful to us. Of course you could always spoil yourself and use your 5 day parkhoppers towards the purchase of APs!:teeth:

You could certainly use your extra day to go to a beach, Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm, or something like that. But 6 day hoppers are oly $5.00 more per ticket than 5-day hoppers. Check GetAwayToday's ticket listings: http://www.getawaytoday.com/TicketListing.aspx?dest_id=2

Hope that helps! :)

are you coming in on the 21st??? If so when? that right there can make all the difference in the world...for example if you dont get in till mid afternoon I wouldnt waste a whole day park hopper ticket on just a few hours...but if you will be there the whole day then I copy what Avalon said...you could also take the day and go into LA and do Hollywood or just stay at the hotel and have a rest/pool day...however, if you decide to take one day and not do the parks I would suggest that day be Sat...parks are the most crowded on that day...

I had the same problem as you, before I realized I could buy 6, 7 and 8 day Hoppers from Getawaytoday dot com

The price goes us by only $5 per extra day beyond the 5 day hopper. For me, the extra $5 is so worth it, even if we will only spend 2 hrs in the park.

THANK YOU!!!! I hadn't seen the site with the 6-day parkhoppers, so this is our answer!!! I really appreciate it!

We had an Extra day and we spent it relaxing, walking DTD, Walking to all the Resort hotels (Disneyland Hotel, GC, PP) and looking around, finding Hidden mickeys, Relaxing by the fireplace at the GC, swimming at our hotel.....

I am all for having more days to go at a more leisurely pace and be able to go to the park just for a parade, or a few rides or shopping or lunch etc. It looks like you have solved your dilemna and I hope you have awonderful trip.
