At BLT now!

Hi all! I don't post a lot, but I did want to give some of my observations of our room here at BLT. We are in a studio with a Bay Lake view on the north side. We are in room 7808 which is on the eighth floor, and we can see the Magic Kingdom and the lake....absolutely beautiful view!

The room condition looks a little worn. The bathroom shower has some rust in it due to the assist handle, and the shower curtain rings are a little rusted too. The furniture is scuffed pretty bad on the side closest to the table, and the toilet paper holder is about to fall off the wall. All that being said, it is a nice room, and I hope that our dues will correct some of these small issues.

We own at SSR, AKV, and BLT, and I hate to say it but other villas seem to be holding up better then here, but we love the view and the convience to MK which is why we bought here. We love every DVC property we own at, and each one has there own quirks and needs, but we do love owning DVC and look forward to many more trips!

Have a great time! We too enjoyed our stay at BLT in September. Our room had it's bumps and bruises too but nothing could overshadow the view and closeness to MK. Enjoy!

love BLT too.

it is my favorite. really love the walk to the MK. and riding the monrail to Epcot.

now also own at BWV so walk over to Epcot. but there is something special about taking the monrail to Epcot that even the walking can't beat to me.

I sure hate to hear about the shower rust/furniture issues. I'm concerned that BLT is holding up as well as the other DVC resorts.

don't worry - you should go back and read the stuff about BCV when it was brand new. or BWV - it would make you feel better.

with BWV Disney got the contractor to come back and do the plumbing again.

Disney makes their contractor fix stuff - it is in the contract.

only got one room that needed work. the others have been fine.
