At AKL now first DVC trip!

We (me, dh, dd8) are in a 1 bedroom savannah view at jambo house just arrived yesterday. Room is great, no complaints about it (I was getting worried leading up to trip after reading some not so great room/resort reviews!). Seen tons of giraffes, zebras and other animals from our balcony!

Spent today at the kidani pool then did some browsing at downtown Disney tonight. Probably will do another pool day tomorrow if the showers hold off.

It is our first trip since buying DVC in July and so far so good

Good to hear all is well. Let us know how the trip is with dd8. My dd will be that age on our next trip to RIverside. I'm sure you will be seeing princessesin your sleep.

Glad to hear your enjoying one of my favorite resorts. If you get time, go down to Mara and have some butternut squash soup (so good-tastes like warm pumpkin pie filling), say "Hi" to Rose for me, and enjoy those giraffes. One evening I saw a giraffe lying down for the first time, and it was so exciting!

We are on the Arusha savannah. You know how jambo is shaped like a u? We are near the top left of the u.
