At a TS meal for 2 can 1 person use DDP & the other pay OOP

We are heading to Sanaa for an evening meal on an upcoming trip. I cant wait to try the bread service which sounds delicious, I am aware as its an appitiser I will have to pay OOP.
From the sounds of it I would be full and need nothing else to eat, however my partner will want his main course and dessert instead.

Can we use just one TS credit for him and me pay for my meal OOP whilst at the same table?

I dont really want to use a credit each and I really dont want to miss the bread service!

Yes just let server know you want seperate checks. We dine with our cousins who do ddp and we never do. Never had an issue

Thanks, I thought it would be fine if we let the server know, just didnt want to be embarrassed if they said no!

My leftover TS can now be used at Beaches and Cream after the wine and dine 10k, I will need it! And my partner wasnt interested in going there at all.

Yes u can. Don't need separate checks. They will
Just put whatever is above and beyond the credit on a bill. Just tell server u r using 1 credit.
