At a TS meal can I pay oop for part and use dining plan credits for part?

Hello!
Getting ready for our first Disney World visit next week! So excited!! Looking over our reservations and meal credits on the dining plan and wanted to double check how credits work.
For our Anniversary we are planning a day at Epcot to enjoy the food and fireworks. For lunch I have an ADR at Biergarten. I thought the kids would really enjoy the show and we would love the beer and food I was planning to use the kids credits here and pay out of pocket for ours. That way we can save them for a more expensive meal that night at San Angel Inn ( not my first choice , but my husband loves Mexican food), while the kids are at a kids club. Can I do this? Or would I have to use all of our credits for Biergarten? I would really appreciate your help!

I'm 99.9% positive you can do this.

Yes you can. Just let your server know which meals will be paid with the DDP and which ones will be paid OOP. I would also double check the receipt before leaving to make sure that DDP credits weren't used for the adult meals. If a mistake is made, it would be easier to fix at that time rather than later on. Have a great trip.
