I'll be 50 next month. :cool1: Disneyland has never really affected me the way it has this year. I have six grandchildren...I have been there twice this year already, and I'm planning another trip in October. :hourglass I love it there. :earsgirl: Love the atmosphere, the rides, the shops (especially the shops). I'm bitten by the bug... :Pinkbounc

The older I get, the more of a Disney fanatic I become. Perhaps part of it is the desire to hold on to my youth becomes stronger, I don't know. But on my trip to DL next week, my biggest desire is to ride every ride there is in Fantasyland at least once. And I turned 50 three years ago.

Welcome to the Smitten with Disney club!!! It's the best and happiest club in the world! :goodvibes :goodvibes

We had a great time there...wish we had family that would insist we go along for a second visit, lol!

Enjoy your time there!

I have to admit, the main reason I chose DL over WDW was the 50th anniversary. My kids had a great time...I'm baffled as to how anyone can spend a day or two there and NOT have a great time!

Have fun on your next visit!

Welcome to the obsessed and addicted!

If you are just finding this love of all things Disney, you have great things to look forward to...monthly trips to DL, semi-annual pilgrimages to WDW, and the annual DCL vacation!

Oops, sorry, I was talking about what's happened to me!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I still remember telling DH that we'll only go to WDW every other year, and NEVER buy DL AP's after the first year!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I know what you mean. As I get older, I want to go more. Just wait till you go to WDW.

Maybe it's because you can forget the "real" world, and just be a kid again.

Planning a DL trip this Nov. Been about 4 yrs since I've been there. Next WDW trip planned in 06'. Seem to go there yearly.

Have a great time

Happy Birthday! I turned 50 in January and will be heading to DL in a couple of weeks...my love seems to grow with each year as well... :wave2:

You're right about forgetting EVERYTHING when you're there...it's a great stress reliever! My daughter, husband, two kids went yesterday 7/10/05...said it wasn't that crowded. THEY RODE SPACE MOUNTAIN! I am so jealous now. Today they are at LEGOLAND with their boys. THESE two boys were with me at Disneyland two weeks ago...I think they are definitely spoiled.

Simba's Mom, LOL, I just said the same thing to my college roommate last week. We both turn 40 next year and I find the desire to go to Disney gets stronger as I get older.
