At 180 days and unable to make reservations!

I just did exactly what you said, and still couldn't make them past 8/18. It is so weird that it works for some. Oh well - no big deal now, but it's still frustrating that there are so many inconsistencies.

I know. I was so worried it wasn't going to work. I tried it on my Mac and it wouldn't go through, just kept bringing me back to the new site. But on the ipad it went straight to the old site. Also all my ressies are linked up to the new site. I know some are having trouble with that too. Glad you got everything you wanted by phone :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Here's another helpful tip for accessing the 'old' system for making dining reservations. Worked like a charm for me so hopefully it will help others too:

Here are the steps I follow:

Open Disney.com

In the upper left corner are a number of small horizontal lines. I click those.

Click 'Parks & Travel'

Click 'Walt Disney World'

Scroll to the very bottom of the page and in small letters in the dark blue area is 'Full Site'

When I click that it takes me to the old site I'm familiar with. I choose 'Where to Eat' and am able to book dining reservations there.

Hope this helps!!

I can follow this until the last step- nothing in the dark blue area is "full site"

Count me in with the 8/18 arrival, as well as the frustration today! This is my first attempt at using the "new" website, and so far I'm not impressed. Nothing is working on-line for me, and after spending the whole 7am hour on hold and finally having to hang up, I ended up calling DVC at 9am. Finally got a BOG reservation, but it's a pretty lousy time. Will have to keep checking for a better time and/or different day. Sure thought being on the ball today would mean I wouldn't have to stress any more!

Same with me! I actually got to the full site link, and it took me right back to where I was going all morning, but it still won't let me make an ADR past 8/18. I don't know why I keep trying - I have all my ADRs - it's just that I get so frustrated when I know there is a way to accomplish something and I can't figure it out!

Sorry it's not working for you. I used it Sunday to book my ressies and again today to book for a friend.

Just a shot in the dark but did you make sure you checked off the box that says to link your hotel ressie? I think its under the "calander box". When you check that box it will take you to a window that asks for your hotel ressie number then it already has your name in the next box, then the last box will ask for the date you check in. Hope this helps.

Mine knows I have a hotel reservation, I can even be looking at my itinerary and "add plans" to add dining- it lets me pick the date and everything, then there is no availability anywhere past 180 days.
The site knows I will be there as long as I don't want to get a table anywhere.

Thanks so much for this information. I was not able to do it earlier on my laptop. Just tried on my husbands iPAD and I was able to get to the old site. Hoping for the best tomorrow morning when my 180+10 opens.

Yes I used the iPad and I'm in the US. All I did was go to disneyparks.com, select WDW...took me to the old site, logged in and I was able to make ressies for all my days.

Thank you so much! This worked for me this morning:)
It's a shame you have to know "tricks" to make reservations...very frustrating!

Well I tried this morning at my 180 days and while I was able to get on the old site on the iPad, it would not find my resort reservation in the dining section. It was there in My reservations , but every time I went to book a restaurant date past my first day it said I needed to be linked to a resort reservation and then "we cannot locate it" !!! It's right there!!!!

Then I managed to get the new site to recognize my +10 in that it allowed me to select a date past my arrival day, but when I search for tables it shows no times available for anything past my arrival date. Except for Victoria's and Albert!!?? That popped up tables everyday of my stay...bookable!?!?!

I don't have anything major to get so I'll book them day by day. Just frustrating they put something out that doesn't work. With the amount of money and resources Disney has, they should get it right before putting it out there. Old system worked fine.

Something I've noticed as well is when I choose the date of the reservation, then the time, it only lets me the option of breakfast, lunch or dinner. When you choose the time first , it allows you to pick the time (like 8:00 or 9:00) and not only the meal. So choose the time first, then the date if you need a specific time. I was looking to book CRT at 8:00, and the system gave me the option of 9:05 and later when I picked breakfast. But when i asked for 8:00, it gave me an 8:20 reservation, which is a BIG difference ! I hope this makes sense !

altough i am not on site i have been trying to book BOG from 8/17 omwards but keeps saying no times available, surely there not fully booked already, i did get a ressie for sci fi so website seems to be working, gutted as really wanted to take my princess mad grandaughter to this
