ASMusic vs POFQ?

I have always stayed at the Allstars, suits our needs well and we love the themes. DS8 loves the pools.

Would love to try POFQ but am worried it won't be worth the extra 30$. Have even considered AKL........

Please tell my some positives/negatives to changing my ressies from ASMusic to the POFQ.

Plusses at POFQ:

Rooms are bigger (314 sq ft vs 260 sq ft for AS)
Pool is very well themed and has a WATER SLIDE!
Get to use the pool/recreation facilities at POR too
Boat to Downtown Disney
Can rent bikes to ride around the resorts
POR has a sitdown restaurant
Great bus service (although AS is very good for the size of the resort) -
Room to Bus - the longest walk at POFQ is shorter than the longest walk at the AS


Just some of my thoughts - POFQ is a great resort and I'm sure that you will fall in love with it!

I asked the same question last week (for the very same reason!), and got some very helpful replies! If I knew how to put in a link I would, but it was on this board not long ago! I was very impressed by all of the responses I got, and very appreciative! Good Luck with your decision!

I also asked the same question last week. I have reservations at POFQ with DH, DD3 and DD7. We have always stayed at ASMusic. SO I was getting cold feet and thinking about changing my reservations back to the AsMusic. But with all the positive feedback about POFQ I am glad that I did not. We got a great rate with the fall specials right now. I figure in the future that we can always stay at Allstars but may not always have such a great rate at a moderate. They say the pool has a great waterslide and that all the buildings are very convenient. Once again, I am also a POFQ newcomer but I asked the same question you are and got many positive suggestions to keeping my POFQ ressies. And noone wrote to tell me to change. I think the responses are still on the forum. Look them Up! I was impressed. Good luck with your decision!
