Asking for a little pixie dust Sad Update 3/1

A good friend of mine had a little boy about a month ago. They knew he would have some heart issues and kept her on bedrest until he arrived. Once he was born they realized it was worse than they thought. Not only did he have major heart problems, he was born without a gallbladder and his liver was wrapped around his stomach.

They tried heart surgery a few days ago and it left him on a ventilator and his parents made the tough decision to take him off that and his heart medications yesterday. So far he is holding his own but it is only a matter of time before he will go home to God.

If you could spare some pixie dust to help her and her fiance through this I would be grateful. She is already an amazing mom to two little angels and it is so hard to see her only son go through this.

My heart hurts for the family sending prayers and pixie dust. That has to be the hardest thing to go thru to see your son struggle.

I am so sorry, Charming. How heartbreaking for them and for the siblings. That must be very hard for them to understand.

Oh God how sad! Is there no way the baby will be ok? Any hope at all? I'm praying for that family!! What can you do at a time like that? I guess just be a strong shoulder for them to cry on if they need you.

They do not think he will make it. His heart problem is too severe and the problems with is other organs is just too much for his little body. They are keeping him comfortable and depending on what happens in the next few days he might be moved to a hospice. It is just awful and I let her know if there is anything she needs I will be there.

Please tell her and her fiance' that there are lots of people praying for them to have strength for whatever may happen. My heart breaks for them.

Update- He is going to be able to come home tomorrow if all goes well tonight. He is doing better off the ventilator than any of the doctors expected and his family has decided to let him spend whatever time he has left at home.

Just wanted to let you all know that Little Frankie passed away this morning. He was able to spend his last week on Earth surrounded by his famly at home and went peacefully.

The family appreciated all of your prayers and good thoughts.
