Hello all! I have lots to tell ya but I only have a minute because I'm at work so some of it will have to wait until tomorrow. So the move is over... finally. Well sorta. My family moved and then me and Mikey decided on our apartment so I was trying to move my stuff while my family was moving because there is no reason to have to move things twice. Well my family was supposed to move this week but the owners of the home came back a week early so we had to be out on Friday. We found all of this out last Tuesday so it made for a very interesting week! So basically we moved all of our stuff and found a new place in 2 DAYS! I have to say that my mom is amazing! I know she was really stressed and wasn't sure what was going to happen but she just pulled through like everything was fine. So anyways we finally go everything into the house on Sunday and we were getting ready to move some of my stuff to Me and DF's new apartment and then my Grand father said that he was having severe chest pains. So an ambulance came and rushed him to the hospital. It was pretty crazy because we hadn't even started unpacking boxes and then the paramedics came in a took him out in the middle of it all. He is doing a lot better now but we are just waiting for some tests to come. So that is all for now because I have to clock-in for work but I will try to post some more later. Chow for now...

Just wanted to add that I miss my DISgirls! I feel like there is something missing so I can't wait to get back into the vibe!

I haven't been on here in a while... We don't have internet at our new apartment so I am official disconnected from the world until Thursday. So I have some updates and some pics to post but I can't find my camera right now because I believe that it is packed away somewhere but I figured I would just let you know what's going on...

So me and DF moved into our new apartment and it's pretty AMAZING... One morning last week that had drive-by breakfast. So as I am leaving the apartment complex they were handing out bagels to all of the cars. It was really nice. I am not in love with Virginia yet but I love the fact that i'm not too far from home. It's about 1hr 15 minutes with no traffic and when there is rush hour I just don't attempt to drive home. ( It would be like 3 hours ... gotta love DC traffic)

I got some pics of our flowers.... They are super cute. They don't look as real as I would like them too but my friend was saying that when they are in the moment they will look great. Here are a couple pics that Tara from Vienna's Flowers sent me... ( I have these pics because they were sent to me and not packed away like the rest of them )

I also wanted to let everyone know that my grandfather is at home and doing well. I told him that he has to pull through because I need him to walk me down the aisle. I know he is up for the challenge.

So I still have more to update ya on but I'm going to be late for school so I will have to fill ya in on everything else later. Hope everyone is doing great and I can't wait to catch up on all of your PJ's! Chow for now!

Hey Ashley! So I finally read your whole pj, and it's so cute. The engagement story is ADORABLE! What a great honey. (and I gotta love a Mike, hehe).

I love the dress. It seems so "you" and you look so happy in it! Nice job on finding an awesome seamstress to fix it. DB does seem quite expensive...and I love how they try to get you with the veil and tiara...oh it's 10% off when you buy the dress.

And I LOVE those DB bridesmaids dresses. I think that's the style I want to do...actually it's the style I want to own myself And nice deal on your sister's dress. Can't beat that.

And I love the Mickey swirls on the cake. You could always think of getting a custom made topper. I want to get one of me and DF dressed as our favorite characters, but we can't decide on which one. Oh well, I've got time.

Nice bonding with future MIL. It's always good to be on their good side.

I'm not a super big baseball fan (that's an understatement) but I have a cute Red Sox story. My brother married a girl from Mass. and she's a fan. So they decided their son would like the Sox, and the NY Giants for football. So they taught him (from a very young age) to go Red Sox YAY!!!!, Yankees Blech!! It's super cute. He's now 5, but he said it long before he knew the meaning. He was like YAY red socks (thinking of socks)...they are the best kind of socks. Haha. He's such a cutie. And he's down in Maryland as well.

Davids Bridal totally suckered me into buying my veil but I absolutely love it so I guess it was almost worth the $200 dollars for the silly thing.

Thanks for all of your sweet comments. Me and DF couldn't decide on a cake topper so the swirls are kinda crazy like us so that is what we went with. It is actually kind of hard trying to find an inter-racial cake topper but that's ok. Plus DF didn't want to go with the classic Mickey and Minnie. He said WDW has already taken over soo much that he needs at least this one thing.

Love your story about your nephew. My child will totally do the same thing except sometimes I wonder what DF will teach our children. I think I'm definitely going to be in for some good times!

Once again, the gazebo is amazing- to be honest, even if you didnt have any decorations it would look amazing, its one of those venues where you are lucky because it doesnt need any decorating but those tulle decorations are too lush eh! that mickey head is too good!

stacey I said the same thing to DF's brother. I was like the Universal boards aint got nothing on us!

I love the gazebo plain. I was just worried about rain and such and if we need to move it inside then I thought it would be nice to have some extra decor. I do think it will look beautiful though!

Ashley, I have a question....which entrance are you having decorated? I'm puzzeled about which one to hang the tulle on, the one with the two short posts in front of it, or the one with openings on either side with no railing? Do you know which one you're going to do?

I couldn't quite figure out a way to explain it but here is a pic. My guests are going to be sitting on the patio so I figured that the decoration would face them. But you could really do it either way! Your big day is soo close! I'm soo excited for ya. I am gonna PM this to you so I know you get it.

oh what a silly boy! There are no other boards lol! Your DF will look great in his blues (and hey not having to deal with a rental in my book). As long as the rest all show up in something not (ie. not mickey ears and t's lol) you'll be fine lol!

DF's brothers are a bunch of characters so they would probably show up in T's and mickey ears just to give me a major panic attack! I can't wait to see DF in his blues. I have only seen him once before so it is going to be fun and special to see him again.

They set up the chairs on the patio. Apparently its a new deck because before the guests just sat in the grass. Bake me a cake pastry shop is making mine. You might want to check with stacey (princess22) about who is doing hers because I know that she has a different vendor. Thanks for the luck! It wasn't too bad except for my grandfather getting sick at the end. But I am glad that it happened at the end rather than during. That would have been crazy!

I finally had a chance to read your entire pj, and I have to say that you and your DF are a totally adorable couple! Your proposal story is awesome. I wish my DH was that creative. He gets nervous and shy when it comes to that sort of stuff.

Did you finally get a new ring? I have to tell you - don't have kids either when it comes to jewelry. My DD got into my jewelry box one day and lost my promise ring. It isn't worth much, so it wasn't insured, but it had a lot of sentimental value. I had taken it off at night and put it in there, and the next morning I woke up to see my DD playing in my jewelry. We found everything except for that ring. I know that it is in my house somewhere, but I probably will never find it until we move!

Thanks for reading! I didn't find my ring during the move, but I wasn't expecting too, although I was hoping. It got lost at my future in-laws. It is an aquamarine so monetarily its not worth as much as a diamond but it does have sentimental value to me as well. Me and DF aren't having kids for a while but I will make sure I remember this. It has been added to the list.

Thanks Sam. The guy finally came to install internet at our place but it wasn't done right so we have to wait to next week to get it fixed. So I am at my parents home using the computer. My grandfather is getting better so I am really really happy! I still can't find my camera but I haven't been doing that great with unpacking. I am still in school so I spend half of my time in VA which is like 40 miles south of DC and then my parents live about 20 miles north of DC. So sometimes I drive back and forth and it is a pretty crazy commute. As soon as I find my camera I will post some pics but I do have a couple to post. The apartment looks great! We are still trying to get settled but it will come with time.

Thanks! I love the flowers too. I had her cut back a little of the green on my bouquet. I love pink and blue too! I couldn't decide between two pairs of shoes one pair was blue and one was pink so then I figured I would just wear one of each. . And then I found some white ones so it all worked out. I think the flowers will look great once they are in the moment.

Where in VA are you? My dad's cousin is in Herndon we had Thanksgiving there every year growing up and we went to his daughters wedding there in August last year. My friend from my CP lives in the area too. She was in Reston but she just got divorced last month so she's moved, but still in VA. I grew up in Richmond and went to college in Charlottesville.

Ok so I wanted to post a couple of updates.... like super quick because I have to be on my way to the airport in 10 minutes so here goes...

1. I am on my way to Boston to see my bestest friend graduate from college!

2. Me and DF had to get legally married at the Courthouse last week but we are still having our Disney affair because it's not official until it's done right! ... long story but I will share later.

3. Still love the apartment and haven't had any real issues with DF yet... Don't worry I know they are coming.

4. Got my ring sized at this place called Princess Jewelery. Gotta Love the name.

5. I am going to Disney next week to work because of a long complicated story that I won't be able to get into but I am excited to be going back for 2 days!

Ok thats all I can do for now cuz I really gotta go.... Beantown awaits.


Oh and I almost forgot



6. I feel super horrrible for not being around but I am going to try really hard to be on here after I get back from Boston. Miss ya!
