Can anyone advise on the different carparks at the terminal? Usually stay at either holiday inn or premier inn, leave car there and have taxi but cheaper not to this time. So which car park do we use? D & E are both £5 per day, the other one £11, so guessing that's nearer. How far walking distance are D & E?
Thanks!

The £11 one is the multi storey and is right opposite the terminal. You just walk across a covered walkaway which takes you straight to the check in area. Car park D is a few hundred yards back down the road (on the left as you drive up to the station) so it's a bit more of a trek if you're loaded down with bags, children etc. However, DH just dropped us all at the terminal then popped back to park the car. It only took him about five minutes but saved us over £20 in parking so we'll definitely be parking there again!

Car park E is a bit further than D but I don't know more about it than that.

Both times we have parked on the domestic side and it took us prob 5 - 10 mins easy walk through the station (shorter walk than if you're at an airport)! it was £5 per day. You can buy all your parking tickets from the train station desk, then no need for loads of loose change! Highly recommend parking here! have fun

I've only ever parked in the main multi-storey. If you do decide to park there, chose level 5 - this is where the walkway is and will mean you don't need to hang about waiting on lifts :thumbsup2
