I'm doing the double digit dance with you!:banana::banana::dance3::banana::banana:

Good morning RCing Lovely Ladies, RCing Temptresses, RCing Hot Mammas (as Pas would say)... we've got 'em all here. :grouphug:

Forgive me if I miss anything that has come after I started this multiquote this morning. It's taken me hours of intermission breaks to get this going... :thumbsup2

Any exciting plans for the weekend?

I'm really leaning towards AoA. I want to try out something super new and my only option is TLM because those are the only standard rooms there. BUT! I love the idea of ASMo. It seems like it would be a lot of fun. I'm going to go back and forth between the two at least.

Those were the two I was down between, AoA and ASMo. I need that King Cupcake though so I'm not changing. Nope. Not gonna.

After having a lovely conversation with Janet, I decided to mow the lawn. It was already 95 out, so I actually thought about doing it another day, but my lack of judgement actually proved useful. As I was sweeping the sidewalk, I saw brown smoke coming out of a pipe on the roof of a house just down the street. I ran to my cell and called 911 and much to my surprise learned that I was the first to call about the fire. Luckily, no one was injured, but as you can see, it could have been much worse. The firefighters were there for over 3 hours.

:scared1: Wow, Kook... wow. You are the sort of neighbour everyone needs. So glad no one was hurt and you were there to call when you did. I'm picking you with a cape on with a big "K" on the back! :goodvibes Scary stuff, indeed.

My first thought was attic fan too, when seeing that first picture. I was a bit paranoid when we had ours installed 2 summers ago and asked them all sorts of questions about its installation and what would happen if a fire occurred.

My brother, having been a volunteer FF, put the fear of God in me with checking smoke detectors. When we first bought this house, we went out and bought a bunch of 9v batteries... only to climb on the ladders to discover that all our smoke detectors were electrical hard-wired. :rolleyes1 You posting this reminds me I want to get another detector for our living level.

OK you have me :rotfl: today. Thank you..and I would NEVER jinx you like that. Because that always happened to me..uh 3 times. But clotes away...give away baby bath...and voila a new baby.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for not jinxing me. :worship: I think I've been holding on to all of her clothes out of pure, unadulterated fear. :lmao:

Suessland rocks! We spent LOTS of time there!!! There's a "teacup" like ride over by the Hulk...Spiderman is 40in. And Flight of the Hippogriff is 36in" and is a coaster ride..pretty darn cool for a kiddie coaster too!!!

Good to hear! :goodvibes I've been vaguely looking at the Seussland and what's there at WWoHP and wondering if we do these places mainly if that'll be enough to enjoy in one day. Whatcha think? I'm kinda thinking we'll try and keep it more "low key" since it'll be with my parents -- and I'm demanding they both rent ECVs after the 'Queen Grouch from the Banks of the Styx' incident last year. :rotfl2:

AKL...ahhhhhhhhhhhh. I have something even better planned for DH....and janet is working on her recap...but I really want to share!!!!
As for some upcoming changes.....excited to see. Availability is tight for our August weekend, but I changed, then called back yesterday, and what I wanted was there with theBB :dance3:

Ooooo, oooooo. What's this?! Where's that popcorn?!

Seriously though, does anyone else find it hard to get motivated by other theme parks? I think I am spoiled????

:rotfl: I'm so with you. Our first park "as a family" was Disney so we're thoroughly, utterly ruined. Universal has a lot to answer for...

Good afternoon all!

I hope everyone is staying as cool as possible, I gather a lot of the country is really hot! I just briefly ventured out and am now enjoying a large, unsweeted ice tea from Starbucks :goodvibes

missoutandabout, we are currently at WDW from 9/17 to 9/28. That being said I have a a bad habit of adding days :rolleyes1 We are driving this trip, so it is quite possible that I may still be there when you arrive!

Unsweetened iced tea! That's my favourite summer drink too. :goodvibes So refreshing... but don't tell my family from below the Mason-Dixon line.

We're there from 17th - 23rd! :goodvibes

DBF and I went ring "browsing", as he liked to call it, this evening. I found a few rings that I really liked, but there was one that I absolutely loved! ...

I told DBF I wouldn't show the ring to everyone, but you ladies are my family and I just have to show you the ring I'm in love with! I am trying to send the image to my computer so I will post it as soon as I can!

How exciting! popcorn::

Yay! :banana::banana:

Me, too - I wonder what we'll get? And, now we can compare East Coast offers with West Coast offers - should be interesting.

Thanks, Kook! Hmmm. Interesting. LG and I should be able to compare deals within the Midwest.

Chimo2u inspired me to check how many days out we are, 88. I swear it was just 100 yesterday. Can I say YIKES loud enough? It's coming up quickly.

Just getting back in the house after a busy day...went to work for a few hours, then got out, picked up DD8 early from her last day of 2nd grade, and then we all headed over to watch DD5 graduate from Pre-K!!! I am beyond proud of DD5 as she is pretty shy yet she overcame that and did her job as flag holder, sang all of her songs and walked up to get her diploma. DH and I were certain that she would be that kid...you know, the one who just stands there crying the whole time, but she did it!!!!

And speaking of proud, DD8 got a PERFECT report card!!!

I am so proud of my girls and so lucky to have them. They totally deserve the awesome summer they've got coming!!!:thumbsup2 we kind of went on a shopping spree at the Disney store...the girls got a lot of Brave stuff (including bow and arrow sets) and DH and I got some tshirts...DH added to his Jack Skellington tshirt collection....(Nightmare Before Christmas is his favorite Disney movie)

24 more days til Disney!!! But I suppose I should start packing for our trip to MD for which we leave next week!!! :scared1:

I'm 90% sure I'm going with AoA. I'm pretty sure my very first Disney movie was TLM. My gramma bought TLM on VHS tape for her granddaughters and since it came out in '89 and I was born in '90, I am assuming it was my first so it would be pretty special if I stayed there!

Isn't it? Here's a picture! If only my fingers and nails were as pretty as the employee's!

This weekend I'll be going to St. Louis for my cousin's baby shower. Then I'll be going to the water park with her, her sister, her son, niece and nephew, her mom and dad at least. I'm really excited! :goodvibes

missoutandabout, I got your dates confused with chimo2u's. We will definitely meet up :cool1: and hopefully if we add a day or 2 I will meet chimo2u also! :cool1:

Grumpy Grandma  thank you.

Kook, I signed up also!

Now then Janet mentioned a King Cupcake...not a fan of banana, but I absolutely LOVE cupcakes. Someday I am going to go on a cupcake  tasting throughout WDW...anyone care to join? :goodvibes

Never heard of Crumbs bakery .... is that a east coast thing?

Did I hear the siren's call of cupcakes? :listen:

Okay Cupcake Fiends: If you could have just one Disney cupcake, which would it be? (I think before I was asking about desserts, we'll stick to just cupcakes with this one...)

Not that I've tried that many, something I wish to change obviously... but my vote would go for the Starring Rolls' Chocolate Peanut Butter.

Dani: Oh, I've looked at their site before and there's one relatively close. :rolleyes1 I'm thinking I need to try the Baba Booey. :rotfl2: There's a theme going on here...

I thought I would try and post some pictures. Here are my dds at a dance competition. They were dancing in the studio's production of Mary Poppins. This was the "Jolly Holiday" part.

I know they've expanded a lot. I'm not sure how far though.
