First, Happy Fathers day to our Dhs, Dads and the people in our lives that are like Dads ....

MM: What a beautiful surprise ... what a romantic, thoughful DH you have!! A sure fire keeper.... bet he had trouble keeping this a surprise! Just the though of him shaving off money here or there to save up for this surprise makes me get a little teary--eyed ... it really shows his love for you. :


Heather: What is it now??? 3 days? Can't wait to see our Star Photographer's pictures and TR of the "dream" vacation!!!


Miss: I second Minnie&Nana's vote for QS in AK ... FLAME TREE BBQ baby!! I can't go anywhere else!! The one year it was closed for refurb ... grrr... had to make do with Pizzaffari, it was good, but not like my beloved FTB.


Dani: Congrats on the MacBook!! It's always nice to get new toys. Did you make a decision on the RPC? Maybe instead can the 3 of you go off and have a special lunch/dinner alone???


Minnie&Nana: I like the MacBook option as it is more versatile but the Ipad wouldn't be bad either.


Jenny: Happy DH and everyone had a great time at the party. Surprise or no surprise, sure he had a blast and really appreciated it! Love the pix, wish they were a little bigger, but what I see translate into a happy and beautiful family!


GG: I so want to see Wicked this summer! I think Sam will really like it. have a fabulous time in Lake Tahoe!


Hannah: Congrats on the smartphone! I'm looking to make the plunge too, just not sure what phone and what carrier to go with (considering swtiching to Verizon). Have lots of fun with it!

I missed it if you stated the dates ... but when is Comic Con in NYC?? Pas is really close and I'm not that far either!

Pas: Hopefully work hasn't been too demanding this weekend, and that you can enjoy the day with your family.

I don't even know what iTunes is for!! lol My iPhone only has 8GB so I don't download any music...and very few apps because I constantly worry I'll fill up the memory!

Guessing if this laps goes sooner rather than later, I will get a Nook Tablet, then save up for a MacAir....or maybe get an iPad 2 instead of the new 3.

I have a regular nook which I use for reading. Dh surprised me at Christmas with an iPad. It is awesome. I downloaded the nook app on it as well. It's great because I have two ways to read. My kids sometimes use the regular nook too so this way there is always another option for me to read.

Thanks! Did you like Wicked? I wanted to see it on Broadway but never make it lol.

I love my iPad for reading. I can get a lot of books with my $100 credit!

Question for the experts...

Where do you like to nosh whilst in Animal Kingdom? I'm very clueless about AK. More clueless than usual and that's a LOT clueless.

We always do TS dining in the warm weather at WDW since it also gives us the A/C break we need to re-charge, thus killing two birds with one stone. Anandapur Yak and Yeti Restaurant is our pick. It is a LOWRY'S restaurant (if memory serves) rather than WDW dining. We just ate there in March and loved it. It has a good menu. We heard people from several tables around us commenting on how tasty they found their meals. FYI -- the angus burger for the less adventurous was one of the best burgers I have ever tried. Honey Chicken with broccoli and carrots, and fried green beans were also quite good. We're sorry we waited so long to eat there. And PS -- DDP is accepted. ...Also, another option is: the Rainforest at then entrance to AK offers breakfast, so we'll do a late breakfast there and then eat dinner elsewhere at WDW. ...DH's big appetite loves the corn dogs at one of the kiosks located near Flame Tree, too.

Sarah!!!

Had fun shopping with my daughter. Bought her 2 dresses and some shoes, then we had lunch and shared a Sprinkle Cupcake for dessert. So fun!

Shopping & food & time with your DD?? Priceless!!!

Hope you had a great time at the brunch yesterday!

Anandapur Yak and Yeti Restaurant is our pick. It is a LOWRY'S restaurant (if memory serves) rather than WDW dining. We just ate there in March and loved it. It has a good menu. We heard people from several tables around us commenting on how tasty they found their meals.

DH's big appetite loves the corn dogs at one of the kiosks located near Flame Tree, too.

Hi Magic!! Okay, MAYBE we can try Yak & Yeti ... the food sounds tasty .... maybe eat early at FTB, and then a later ADR at Y&Y (EMH hours) ??

Oh... you are tempting me, we LOVE corn dogs!! Will have to look for this cart!

Good morning from beautiful California! Having a second cup of coffee and catching up before I go change for the graduation! There are actually two graduations here, a huge one in the football stadium which we are skipping and then after that each department has a reception and a graduation where they get their diplomas. We are off to that one in a bit.

Minnie&Nana, I am putting my vote in for an iPad! That is what I am using now. I have had mine for over a year it's a ONE, so it is the original and it is perfect for me. Portable, easy to use. It is tied into my Kindle so I can read books on it, and of course check the DIS I also like the fact that it can run off 3G (cell tower) as well as the internet so I can use it even when free wifi isn't available. Janet is considering one also!
