I think am trying to convince myself that I'll be lucky and blessed with good luck and good weather going at the end of Sept/ beginning Oct!!! I sure hope it's not horrid, but there is always that chance....and the heat is definitely killer with that humidity!

Let's both keep all of our fingers & toes crossed for good weather!

But, just in case, I'll have water, sunscreen, bug spray & Reid's fan on his stroller for him (which I steal every now & again to cool off for a second ).

I'm one of those people that gave the Wl rooms a big thumbs down. Club level may make up for the bad rooms. To be honest I don't think the rooms at any of the resorts are all that great. I'm not a fussy person at all. I stayed at Marriot residence in a month ago that was nicer than any of the Disney deluxes. I would never make the room the deciding factor. When it comes to pools and theming nobody does it better than Disney. I would base my choice on the resort that has the most appeal, and keep the room expections low.

If your switching to Wl for Cl that's great, but I wouldn't do it expecting a nicer room.

I've dropped under 3 months!!!! It's been such a long wait for this one!!! I'm never booking so far out again!! Ooohhhh, a "good life" Disney commercial just came on while I'm typing this...perfect.

Ugh the heat Well snce it IS a HRH birthday trip... I'll tweak the dates a little this way we can do MNSSHP Sept 30th....and the rest of the trip we will chill at the pool and RPC...this is the dream mom/HRH trip....

I agree with WDW rooms. Our PBH rooms were far nicer than ANY WDW room (including AKL & YC suites) plus much cheaper...but it's not Disney...Funny enough when we owned DVC, SSR was our favorite spot, but now I long for the MK area

I love club level!!! I really wouldn't do a deluxe without it...one of the main reasons I switched from poly.I love CL! Drinks in the summer, snacks, that instant breakfast at your fingertiips.....CL!

I agree, it feels "wrong" to be at a deluxe without the CL

All the tentative plans for a RC DIS Meet sound great! That is the good news.

The bad news is the more I have been researching I do think it will still be too hot & humid for DH and I.

So we are back to Nov/Dec or March and BWI for sure.

Has anyone ever booked more days than they wanted then cancelled some of the days later just to get the days the really want?

It was totallyKooks review (of course I had help) And I HAVE booked like that then cancelled days easy peasy...

WOOOHOOO!!!!! So excited I'll DEFINITELY have to run into you while we are all in the same place! That's WONDERFUL!!!! I hope there's some more of our little family there so we can have a small dis meet I know amandaw is going to be there then too!

I told HRH we may meet some of Mommy's friends....she is excited!!!

Oh too bad! I would love to meet up with some of you too!, We are leaving the 21st of September! Sounds like fun though!

Woooohooo! There's too many of us going the same time, we definitely can't pass in the night!!! We have to plan a little meet for sure!! I was throwing around ideas in my mind .....I wonder if Any of you where planning on watching wishes from the POLY beach one night, that might be a good idea without infringing on people's touring plans too much! Or perhaps if there are enough of us going to Sept 30 th MNSSHP , we could arrange something that night, maybe we could meet for QS before the party? Whatever the case, we definitely have to coordinate something to meet our RCer peeps

SO all my lack of sleep caught up to me, I took a nap yesteday with DS3 and DH forgot I had to work...I woke up at 702pm, had to be at work t 7pm....whoops, I was an hour late that's NEVER happened....and Friday I found out I am getting a Nurse Excellence award....I hope they don't change their mind.... Of course NONE of my co-workers were mad or surprised I overslept, it's not easy to go 33 hrs without sleep

MM I would go for the CL at WL seeing how it is only $27.50 more per day. That is less than $7 a day pp, breakfast alone you will recoup your $$$
But.....
In all honesty I would stick with the Poly and go for CL there it may seem expensive but there is no guarantee Disney will extend the military discount and at the Poly I think CL is worth it for just knowing what building you will be staying in (Hawaii), the Poly lounge is huge and viewing of the fireworks

Sheila, when my DH mentioned my MIL was coming, I thought of all my RC "adopted grammas" that I'd want to invite....I know you can't pick your family....but boy oh boy if I could, That's funny about your ancestry, PBH is the closest I'll probably ever get to the Italian Riveria....BTW they have excellent Gelato Will DH think you're totally crazy if you told him you've adopted a Pas and a HRH....(we'll sleep on the day bed) *hoping janet & her DD will join us too*

The other day that song came on the radio in the car. My little boy immediately starting screaming, "It's the Disney song!" I keep saying I'm going to download that song to make it my ringtone but I always forget.

I hear ya, but....I cannot justify the cost of CL for my family. My kids don't even like gummy bears!!! The breakfast offerings are about all we'd take advantage of. DH and I don't drink alot...we'll usually get a beer at Biergarten but that's about it. But, at $27.50/day it's tempting, because I do feel that my kids would take advantage of the bagels and fruit.

I'm hoping I like the Poly punch. The appetizers will be nice. I'm looking forward to trying it, but not expecting it to save me a lot of money on food.

Pas I hear you on the sleep thing. I slept 10 hours last night.I don't get a lot of sleep on the days I work. Up at 430 am and home at 7 or 8. You got to make it up on your days off.

I'm sticking with my Poly/BC split, but am really considering WL CL for April 2013 since My DFIL is putting up some good $$ towards it.

I think my plan to keep Sheila cool in RPC with HRH (who also dislikes the heat=being the princess se is...) is a good one, no??? No one was surprised I overslept, plus I bought coffee & donuts to make up for my tardiness (and lack of shower)

PAS: Woo Hoo!! for HRH's birthday and MNSSHP on the 30th we'll be there with you! We'll definitely work something out to hook up, either with a fruity drink at the POLY, or QS at MNSSHP, or something.....I am so excited I get to meet you gals

I had to make a major change to my plans today.....I called Discovery Cove and switched my reservation from Tue. Oct 2 over to Monday, Oct 1 (There goes my 1 free change! ) because originally Oct 1 was my planned Epcot day, but with it being Epcot's 30?? birthday, the crowd predictions are not looking good, and touring sites like Josh's Easy WDW are calling for avoiding Epcot on that day......sooooooo
I decided, crowds I do not do well with, especially extreme crowds and if Epcot is anything like Mk's birthday was, I want to stay far away. Discovery Cove is now my Mon. Oct 1 destination, and Epcot slid over to Tuesday. I had originally had a reservation for Teppan Edo at Epcot on the 1st at 6:20 pm, but with the switch, I could only re-schedule a 5:20 pm dinner on the 2nd at Teppan Edo not my favourite time (a little early), but I took it....
however, Thinking on it some more, perhaps it is a better timing because if Test Track is going to be down during our trip, there won't be many major rides pulling for our attention......we may end up just getting it all done sooner.

Wouldn't you know it, I told my 16 yo son, Andrew, that I had decided to get rid of PH'ers this trip and he hit the fan! He said We love being able to go to different parks at night....so, my plan to save $200 might not happen, if he and his brother want Park Hoppers.....I really don't think we'll have the time to park hop, things are pretty tightly scheduled, after dinner, I am not going to want to go off at 8 pm to another park......so we'll see when we get there, if we need the PH'er I may have to buy it (would be nice if I could just buy 2 of them for the boys and then they could bugger off and do what they want! )
ohhh, the drama of planning! just when you think you have it figured out it does a complete turn!
