I was going thru serious withdrawls last night!! I'm glad the Dis is back!!

So I looked at the the LM rooms at AOA for Sept 27-Oct 1, and I think I'm a go :) Even without a discount, it's super reasonable, and it's probably just me going anyway!

Pas: I love the WL change!! It's a nice compromise and I think you'll be happier there than SS!!

I'll be back later :) I'm really really  from the Rx. I'll have to call tomorrow and have them change it.

Woooohooo! There's too many of us going the same time, we definitely can't pass in the night!!! We have to plan a little meet for sure!! :cool1: I was throwing around ideas in my mind .....I wonder if Any of you where planning on watching wishes from the POLY beach one night, that might be a good idea without infringing on people's touring plans too much! Or perhaps if there are enough of us going to Sept 30 th MNSSHP , we could arrange something that night, maybe we could meet for QS before the party? Whatever the case, we definitely have to coordinate something to meet our RCer peeps :wave2:

Pas is back at WL :faint:......must have been KOOKs review that sealed the deal. DH read both her reviews and still says WL use to be his favorite but now it is the BWI.

Deena I was just pricheing out AOA again but from 9/26 to 10/4. We could be neighbors :cool1: I am just a little fraud DH or even I might hate it there. :confused3

I soooooowant to meet up with all you guys.

Has anyone ever booked more days than they wanted then cancelled some of the days later just to get the days the really want? When I try booking just the weekend WV room I want at BWI it is not avAilable but I can book it for the entire week. Oh what to do:confused3

Sheila , that would just be too amazing!! So many of us in one place at the same time! pixiedust: in the making for sure :goodvibes

So I could use some advice....I want to show my BFF the cute little morning show at MK...I :lovestruc it! It feels so Disney to me! We have breakfast Ressie at KONA on Sat Sept 29 at 9:30 am. I am wondering, do we need a park ticket to see the show? For some reason I can't remember if it is just outside the turnstiles or not!? Reason Being.....I would like to get rid of our PH option if I can.....we only have 4 days in the parks anyway, Arrival Day:
FRI. sept 28 arrive late afternoon....probably check into POLY around 3pm or so. may hit a park that night, or may just hit the pool, then head to Cali Grill for our 7:45 dinner.

Sat Sept 29: MK morning show? Then head to KONA for 9:30 breakfast, then it's our AK day until 6 pm, then OHANA at 7pm

Sunday Sept 30: it's our Cabana rental 10-2 pm then heading to MK for our MNSSHP night. No dinner ressies tonight, just QS b4 the party :)

Monday, Oct1: it's our EPCOT day! Dinner at Teppan Edo tonight at 6:20

tues Oct 2: it's our Discovery Cove Day....no park ticket needed. evening will be DTD and dinner at WPE

Wed Oct 3: today is our last Disney day :( DHS day today and dinner at 6 pm at 50s primetime

So .....as far as I can tell,I can probably get away with saving the $200for PH's and put that money towards our MNSSHP tickets , which are going to be $320 for the 4 of us......I think that would be a much better use of my money!

I reallly want to see the cute little MK morning show though and it works best on my KONA brkfst morning, as long as I don't need a park pass to see it.....I can't remember! :p

I just can't keep a secret though :rotfl2: too excited!

Sept 27th-30th or Oct 1st :dance3:

Leave Oct. 1st so that y'all can do MNSSHP on Sept. 30th! :cool1:

I like the idea of MNSSHP on 9/30. We're planning on using our party tickets to get into the park. So, we'll be getting to MK between 4 & 5. Our plan was to get there & get our party wrist band & then go grab a QS meal. So, that would work for us if it would work for everyone else. Are y'all dressing up for the party. Of course, my little boy wants to dress (which is fine) but he also wants my DH & I to dress with him. So, y'all would maybe be having dinner with some costumed adults. :rotfl:

I think you could see the RD show @ MK without having to go through bag check or the turnstiles. It wouldn't be the best view but I think it's possible. I definitely would let go of the PH option if that's all you would use it for.

amandaw: I like the idea of meeting for QS if others go to MNSSHP on the 30th too.....I was thinking Columbia HH or perhaps Be OUR GUEST if it is up and running by then :) I have no problems meeting with ghosts and goblins big or small....:p I am not planning on dressing up, although I think my BFF wants too :) well have to see what the others think :goodvibes
I think if I Remember correctly, I cam go through bag check without a finger scan/ ticket.....then watch the show by the big planter outside the turnstile.....it was where we watched every time before, and a great view.
I have always gone with PHers before, never gone without them because my kids like hopping to other parks in the evening.....but it looks like there aren't many Evening EMHs when we are there, and our week is pretty jam packed already ...I don't think we'd get the use out of them? :confused3 it's the first time I've thought of ditching the PHer :p

I really hope Be Our Guest will be open! Any QS place would be good for my family. So, whatever the majority would want, we would go along with. I still have to decide on what we're all dressing up as.....we'll definitely have a theme. If your BFF wants to dress up, maybe y'all could come up with something cute that doesn't require a full-blown costume. :confused3

You're right, you could just go through bag check but not the turnstile. I think y'all will have a good enough view. On our last 2 trips we had PHers just so we could do AK & DHS in one day. But, I didn't get them for this trip. I'm not a big fan of park hopping. And I make sure to give us at least 1 full day in each park since we'll be there for a longer time this year. I would think you'll be fine without them.

If I switch to WL woods view BB room, I will save $275.

If I spend $275 more, I get WL CL (standard room)....::yes::

Thoughts????

Anyone???im having a weak moment here. I'm thinking that the $27.50 more per day would be worth it to have the continental breakfasts so that my kiddos have all of their favorites....and the beer and wine...and then a place to hang out on our last day as we have a good size gap between check out time and ME time....

I love club level!!! I really wouldn't do a deluxe without it...one of the main reasons I switched from poly.I love CL! Drinks in the summer, snacks, that instant breakfast at your fingertiips.....CL!

You know what,I LOVE club level.....there are many pluses for it, and WL looks like a beautiful resort. However, I know how much you want the POLY too....and I really don't think you can beat the price you have it at....I'd stick with the. pOLY I think :) your kids can get some fairly cheap breakfasts at CC, and you are on the monorail, with the volcano pool, the tiki lit paths, the ambience.....could you rent a cabana on your last day at POLY to hang at the pool? And have a private place for the family? Have you seen if you can get your military discount on a GV CL room at POLY?
I wouldn't give up your POLY dream....you may change yourself out of availability....that would suck if you change, then get a change of heart and want to come back but there is no room at the inn-so-to-speak! :crowded:

I have never stayed at a deluxe without club level. I don't think it is worth it NOT to have it....The place to relax on last day...And you usually can get a late checkout till 1....Honestly it is beyond worth it!

The mil discount is available at the Poly but still far more than I am willing to shell out...and the way we are configure between Poly and BC, the BC is where we'd be on our last day...so cabana is not an option....and I don't want to pay for BC CL either. I've always wanted to do WL too...ugh! I don't know.

I agree with the CL Love! :lovestruc I would never go without it! I wonder how much more it would be for you to go GV CL at the POLY, MM?
The CL experience is beyond wonderful, and I can never consider leaving it off....I tried, I thought about it briefly to add DLX dining and just do non club room....,but I just love CL too much and couldn't give it up! :lovestruc

Ahh, I see....then you know, I might consider CL in your case at WL. If you've always wanted to stay there, it is a beautiful resort....and as
Kook said their lounge is wonderful. It is close to MK. Would it be a PITA to do your ADRs from WL?
Trust me, you will not regret CL....in fact it may ruin you forever and you'll never want to go without again!

It's about $600 more for CL at Poly. :crazy2:

I'm torn!

All the tentative plans for a RC DIS Meet sound great! That is the good news.

The bad news is the more I have been researching I do think it will still be too hot & humid for DH and I.

So we are back to Nov/Dec or March and BWI for sure. :cool1:

Ugh....that's steep! I feel your pain. Which resort works better with this trip? Where do you think the kids will have the best experience? Both beautiful resorts, although I've heard just as much negative reviews about WL rooms as POLY rooms, so I wouldn't let that be the deciding factor....just something to keep in mind.

I am now having to change my plans around....not resorts, thank goodness! I am sticking with the POLY :lovestruc....but I just saw that Easy WDW is not recommending Epcot for Oct 1...of course not! It's Epcots BDay....and predicted mayhem/ crowds, so now I am thinking I need to make my Discovery Cove day Monday Oct 1, and my Epcot day Tue the 2nd.....that meant a dining change, and they only had Teppan Edo avail on the 2nd at 5:20....a little earlier than I like, but I took it. Thankful there is not a cc guarantee! So now I have to see if I can switch our DC reservation to a day earlier!

My kids will be happy anywhere, they're just happy to be at Disney. :cutie:

Ironically, DH is very gung ho about our split now...so I'm staying put...for now...maybe it will have to be WL CL for the April trip...we'll pretty much be guaranteed a new room for that trip. :hyper:

Awwww.....what if I buy you a battery operated fan like I have for Reid? :confused3

Just kidding....I understand about the heat & humidity. For us, it's the same weather that we have at home so no big change but I can understand if you're not used to it.

I agree, Sheila....it can be yucky! I remember sweating buckets sept 1-12, 2009.... But I think it is like childbirth, you forget the pain of it after awhile, :rotfl2: I think am trying to convince myself that I'll be lucky and blessed with good luck and good weather going at the end of Sept/ beginning Oct!!! I sure hope it's not horrid, but there is always that chance....and the heat is definitely killer with that humidity!

Sad we won't cross paths though.... Maybe in the future we will :thumbsup2
