Sshhh... I can't believe I haven't changed my reservation since I changed my ressie for the second time! I came from POR to POP. I think I am going to stay there.. I really want to be able to just hop over to AoA and check the place out and have lunch or dinner there.. If I can't stay at LM section, at least we are only a bridge away. I have a 5 yr old and he loves the movie Cars, so I think he will appreciate going over there and look around.

Well, DH is home from work. I mentioned earlier that he had a visit from the big boss today...I didn't/couldn't elaborate at the time, but in case you didn't figure it out...his big boss is President Obama....I'm just rifling through all of his pics and looking at all the souvenirs and samples he took off of Air Force One!! So cool! Just another day at work, right??

1/10/2013 - 1/13/2013 is Disney's Marathon Weekend...it is definitely crowded, but if you switch to leaving on the 10th, then you'd be leaving the day all the marathon participants arrive.

The 5K is Fri, Half is Sat and full is Sun. So leaving Thursday you will miss the crowds for sure.

Our RC Weekend is set for Jan 11, but we'd be wise to look at other dates because it is a very busy time and not usually any discounts, unless booked with one of the travel agencies who get special rates - but even those rates will not be great.

Maybe we should change the date for the RC weekend???

Thanks KOOK and JC - it was just one of those weekends. I lived in the heart of Cambridge, MA for 39 years, walked about 6 miles a day to/from work and in the summer (no school) still walked at least 3 mi a day. Here we have no sidewalks and no where to walk...6 yrs of this and being so isolated gets to me sometimes (I don't drive)...but not complaining as I am otherwise very blessed...my precious DGD and DD.

My phone is just about on it's last legs. Had a hilarious discussion with DS about whether it's legal for a mom to pre-order the new Samsung Galaxy S3 coming out in July. (I dunno, mom, that's a pretty cool phone. ) We agreed it's OK, I did it.

I am so looking forward to our trip to WDW! I can't wait to dip my toes into Stormalong Bay.

Maybe we should change the date for the RC weekend???

Janet and I chatted for a bit last night...if we do stay at WL then we'll be away from most of the goings on and could make any park plans for later in the day. It is a busier weekend, traffic can be a nightmare, but we wouldn't be out and about during those times. The thing is, discounts will be few and far between for those dates...fingers crossed the weekend will be black out dates for BB. I am going to send around an email update today.

Some of decided an RC weekend was in order to celebrate a big birthday I have coming up late November... and some other RC birthdays in Dec. A Nov weekend didn't work well for everyone so we changed to January. Right now we are 3 definites and 2 possibles...fingers crossed the possibles will soon become definites!

Aw, you're so sweet. Thank you! We've been here 6 years and I met one friend but she lives over an hour away. A move to FL is looking better and better!! Will have nearby friends if we move to the St. Pete area.

So NYE is short lived...the crowds freaked me out and $2600 for 1 night...not the bestest idea So I switched to two Royal rooms in November...I have to say I think I'd rather do AoA....

I just booked my trip! It is $478.13 for four nights. I know my mom hates that I am so impatient, but I can't risk not staying at AoA! Now to wait to make ADRs.

I kept quiet on your trip planning yesterday but ..... I would have chosen the Nov dates, weather, crowd level, etc. That week between Christmas and New Years me!

Castle trip .... POR Royal rooms or AOA??? That's a hard one. Royal rooms for your little princesses! But then AOA would be so much fun. I'm still trying to figure out a way to add a night or two on there for my Oct trip. So I'm no help with this but the Pas family will have a wonderful time no matter where they stay!!!!
