Just found out DH is deploying during our previously scheduled Spring Break trip, so in 24 hours I have rescheduled us to go for President's week and we leave in 8 days!!!!!!!!!!

I got a pin code for All Star Sports and seems like a great deal. Because it was last minute I haven't done a lot of research. Can someone let me know about the resort, and even better things it would be good to have in the room to make life better? It is a ten day trip with 2 adults and an 8 and 6 year old.

Appreciate all the help I can get in these last minute planning days.

We love All Star Sports! The food court is smaller than POP but it has very good food and the pools are great! You can use the pools at Music and Movies as well. We usually get connecting rooms and have never had a view of the pools as it is quieter in the back of the buildings. Because it is a smaller resort than POP the walk is shorter to the bus stops and to the main desk.

We liked the baseball rooms. There is a pool right there and it is a quick walk to the food court and buses (we cut around the football hotel and walked along the sidewalk.) The rooms were also just redone. Have a great trip!:wizard:

We stayed in the Basketball rooms in August. They were still not "upgraded". If you are assigned there please make sure that double check if they have been done. If so it is the next building over from the pool as well as the food court. We loved the resort!! Have a great time and I hope your hubby stays safe.

We just cameback from All Star Sports 2 weeks ago and we LOVED it. It was our first time there and we are planning on going back real soon. If you have any questions for me, please let me know.
We stayed in building #6 Surf's Up, which is the Preferred rooms. We did this to be close to the Food Court, Arcade (for my son) and laundry area. We had adjoining rooms with my MIL & FIL who came along with us. We did have a room facing the pool, so at times it was a little loud, but never to the point that it bothered us. Since it is a "sports" hotel, there are high school and college "teams" that stay there. There were college cheerleaders there when we were there, but they were very tame. The food at the food court is very good and there are a lot of good choices. I think that the refillable mugs are a great thing. You can buy them for $12.49 and fill them up with as much cofee, hot chocolae, soda, etc that you want for your entire trip. We used them in the morning and at night.
The rooms are nicely redone and have hair dryers now on the wall.
Again, feel free to ask any questions...........it is still fresh in my mind!
Have a wonderful trip!!! :thumbsup2

Thanks Mattsmom,
You answered the big one about the hair dryers. Nice to know.
Really looking forward to it.
