A range of 2-6 in the Chicago area. 21 would (and has) cause headaches here.

I have no idea yet. It's not over.....With thewinds (gusts up to 50 mi). I'll post tomorrow after it's over.

yup - we got slammed here in southern MA too
DH managed to get the bottom of the driveway cleared up enough to get his car to work. And made a path to the cars.
DS & I will go out shortly and see what we can do.
Come on warm weather, gotta get this stuff melted. It will be at least a few days before it warms up

Kim, I live in tobyhanna and as of 8 pm last night the weather channel reported 21" in tobyhanna, that didn't include the other 5" we got after that and today we are dealing with the wind blowing and the snow drifting. DH is still home, he almost went into a ditch because of the road conditions, he's just waiting now for the roads to be cleared.

    I think the only time I ever saw that much snow was during the blizzard when I was a kid. It is barely white outside. Stay safe.

We got clobbered too, but not that bad. We have about 14 inches outside the house, the girls went out and measured YUCK!!! The roads are a mess, because I think they waited to start after midnight so they wouldn't have to pay Holiday pay. I AM NOT KIDDING!!! We did not hear or see a plow til we were going to bed after midnight!!!

Took 45 minutes to do our driveway with the snow blower :(

Stay warm buddy. DO not over do it with the shoveling..Hugs

We saw a plow ONCE in the entire day, they didn't plow again till this morning but it took me ove one hour to do 15" of snow with the snowblower I enjoy using mine though, mine is self propelled and it has tracks on it instead of wheels, it goes through anything. I have to go out there now and clean the rest. Have a great day everyone and stay safe if you are still being pounded with it.

We have somewhere around 10". DH didn't go out plowing till after midnight (he has his own business ) because it didn't stop snowing until 2 a.m. He tells his customers that if he has to plow twice for the same storm he will charge them twice- to him the storm is "white gold" but dealing with all the phone calls gets to be a pain after a while.

Well.....I'm checking in with 24 inches of snow !!! And - we were out driving in it last night. I couldn't bear to be without my family on Christmas Day. You know, it's just the two of us, and our house is not very
"Christmasy", I couldn't give up Christmas Day with the family. SO...we carefully went out to drive about 15 miles. WOW ! We had almost white-out conditions. The ride home was really dangerous. My stress was high. When we got home, we could not get into our driveway. We live in a rural area, but with lots of traffic on a normal day.
We had to abandon our car in the road,
(we don't have a shoulder on the road),
so that my DH could use the snowblower just to get the car out of the road and into the driveway.
Talk about stress !!!
No way I'm going to work today. I live just 5 miles away from Albany, NY airport.

OMG!! I wouldn't know what to do with a foot of snow, much less 3 feet!!!

We had a torrential downpour on Christmas Eve night. If it had been below the 30's we would have had a blizzard. Of course, this is Florida, so it was in the 70's.
The rain brought cooler temps on Christmas day though.

To all of you in the frigid north......be safe and stay warm!!!

Wow!!! That is unbelievable!!! I would love to see that!! We only got 3 inches here, and to my kids, they thought it was Heaven!!! I don't know what they would think about 3 feet of snow!! Be careful!!!

That's alot of snow folks!!! You better be really careful Glo!!! Anything over 20 inches and it's up to your hiney!!! :p
