AS Movies vs PORS for a Solo

I'm going back for a solo trip in May and will not be spending very much time in the room, so am debating on staying in a Value or Moderate. I've stayed at POFQ, CBR, CSR, POP, AS Sports, and AS Music, so the only Value or Moderate I've never stayed at are AS Movies and PORS. I've always stayed away from those two because #1 AS Movies being the last bus stop and #2 PORS being so big and having read alot of negative reviews about the transportation system and housekeeping issues. Which would you stay at? I'd like to stay somewhere I've never stayed before, but again have always avoided these two resorts.

Can someone give me pros and cons on both? or should I just stick to one I've stayed at before (POFQ, CSR, POP, or AS Sports would be my other options).

Don't worry about the Movies being the last bus stop. I honestly don't see why people worry about this.

Would you rather be the first then have to wait to make 2 more stops? Trust me - You'll get a seat. Worse case is, it's super crowded and they'll send another bus. I've stayed at ASMovies at least half a dozen times, and never had a bus issue.

I would pick Asmo because you said you wouldn't be in the room much.

Unless you planned on "hanging" out at the resort....why pay the
money

I also would pick ASMO. But thats only because we have stayed there twice and we love it. The last bus stop this is really not a big deal. Sometimes we would even get off at sports and walk over. The last night of our trip we did as there was a screaming baby on the bus all the way from MK back.

I would also pick ASM and save the $, especially if you dont plan on being in the room much! Take some time and go over to PORS and have a meal and walk around the resort to get the flavor, then take a boat into DownTown Disney!

May 3rd-11th.
I'm really more concerned about having to stand on the bus every morning. POFQ and AS Sports are both the first stops, so I've always been lucky enough to get a seat. With AS Movies being the third stop I would assume I'd be standing every morning.

If I do choose AS Movies, I'd probably go with a preferred room and request the Fantasia section. Good choice?

Fantasia is awesome. Our first time staying at ASMO in Sept 06 we ended up on the opposite side of the pool in fantasia which was a nice quick walk and we lucked out and got connecting rooms. This past Sept we did not want to get our hopes up but we lucked out in the same exact rooms just switched. The food court is awesome there as well.

Honestly I do not remember having to stand on pickup this year. The prior year it felt like that. But this year the bus system was much better. At th end of a night.. yeah you will most likely but standing. But its the same on any bus.

Really you just need to decide where you want to put your money. Personally for a solo trip I will stay value. Actually probably any only because of teh short amount of time we spend in the room.
