I love to read all stroller threads & this is what I’ve gathered, could you please now help with our Stroller Quandary?

Should we buy ANOTHER Stroller ~ keep in mind we already have 6? I can’t believe this ~ I’m the one that bought the old Maclaren for $5.00 (LOVE IT!!!) however, w/out sunshades, & this really isn’t acceptable for Disney (Not average yet we did go 4 times this year), so I promised DH if I sell ALL other strollers we could get 1 more for DDs 2 & 4 (very petite, probably won’t hit 45lbs for quite a longtime & loves to stroll). Dilemma: Maclaren Twin Traveller (I believe their least expensive, I really did not want the one w/strap recline, but always open to your opinions) or Combi Twin Savvy (from what I can see there are 2 maybe 3 cupholders, Very Important DDs love to stroll & dine!)? Have I missed any others?

Both Big investment for our Budget (remember we like to Disney as much as possible :o) DDs are getting older & when we use it at home will mostly be long shopping days & the twin stroller does seem bulky in stores, although will still use many times @ Disney & DDs just seem so comfy (they actually fall asleep for nice naps, so we don’t have to lv parks & sleep at night so DH & I enjoy ourselves esp. F & W :o) also I ebay so I know I can turn around & get a big part of my investment back ~ drive DH crazy w/all stroller boxes stored in shed, but you I think you really do get more $ with orig box :o)

I think I really want the Maclaren with Snacktrays ~ any ideas?
Combi ~ Fully Reclines, Very Padded (would you say more padded than Maclaren?), although No Leg Extensions (remember I love comfy & for Petite DDs we do use this on our old Maclaren, does seem really nice, but would we miss it?!), also Combi doesn’t look to fold nearly as small as Maclaren, slightly important as we drive to Diseny each time :o)

We live in a small town, so I need to plan a trip into Raleigh (about an hour, so I can compare them), we are lving in 10 days & I hoped to order from ebay or Allbee to save $$, so I’d love to hear all the good, bad & the ugly :o) from you all?!
Thanks again from another Stroller Mommy!

My first double was a Mac Twin Traveller. I liked it, but thought it was kind of heavy. So, I eBay'd it and bought a Peg Aria Twin. It was definitely lightweight, but it was way too big when folded and felt flimsy to me. So, off that went to eBay and I bought a Combi Twin Savvy. It was slightly lighter than the Maclaren, but I really missed the leg rests and thought it was harder to stear than my Mac. So, the Combi went to eBay and I bought a Twin Traveller that was identical to my original. DDs are now 2 and 4- both weigh 32lbs and are 38" and 40." I don't use the leg rests any more, but I do still use the full recline and other features. The cup holders on the Combi were nice, but they're kind of shallow, so I'm not sure if they're as useful as they could be. I liked the Twin Savvy, but I preferred the TT. I'm 5'11" and DH is 6'2", so the Maclaren is just more comfortable to push if you're tall. If you are tall, I'd definitely go with the TT. If height isn't an issue, I'd buy whichever one is less expensive.

Good Luck!

Leslie,
Thanks ~ I laughted out loud because I could sooo relate, God Bless eBay!!! We are the short family myself 4'10 & DH 5'10 so height really isn't one of our Many issues. I've already told the girls we are going to the Big City tomorrow to look at strollers, I can hardly wait! :cool1:
