As God as my witness.I'll never be sick at Disney World again~~~wrapping things up...

at some point Bailie handed the camera over to hunter.......

The kids had fun watching these ducks while we waited for the boat. This one was a very "friendly" guy and he was trying all his best moves on the ladies, but they all ran away skwaking......never thought my kids would get a lesson of the birds and bees and disneyworld.

For my birthday I decided to take the kids to see "up"....first I was excited when I got to the theater and they had it in 3 D, for our little town that's huge!
There were a couple of great pre-views including one for Toy Story 3, coming out next june! My boys are really excited about that.
The little "short" that pixar always does was, in my opinion, the best one ever!

As for the actual movie?
It was amazing!!!! It is the best pixar has done in a long time! I laughed, I cried, I laughed and cried a litttle bit more!
It is a great heart warming story that pulls you in from the beginning.

so, would I recommend it???? YES!!:banana::banana:

We're going tomorrow afternoon with the kids

I decided to videotape the ride, I'll try to get that uploaded later, and it's hillarious to listen to.
If MIL didn't need depends before....she was wishing she had some then!

When the ride stopped, I asked her if she was ok.....

MIl...." I can't feel my pulse!" :lmao:

She really is a good sport about trying everything once. She said she liked the ride other than the "up and down".

DSC01491.jpg

That was funny. She couldn't feel her pulse. She's a good sport for going on another one right after, LOL

Can't wait to hear about the surprise for the kids!

Lol. :rotfl: MIL's reactions are priceless. Here's hoping she uses those ToT pictures for Christmas cards. Sounds like you guys are having a great time so far. And, what d'ya know...no Prozac...............................yet

I hope you had a great birthday Cherie!

I just got back from seeing it with my boys and I can't agree more! I expected it to be cute and fun but did not expect it would be so sweet and touching!! I was so looking forward to the TS3 preview but we didn't get it :guilty: We were able to choose the 2D version or the 3D version (for a higher price) and I went with the cheaper one and we didn't get to see it...bummer!

great updates--you're mil is a good sport!!!:lmao:
she was willing to try everything once....she didn't want to ride either of those a second

!

that was one of the best lines from the trip!

I forked over the extra $3 a person, because the boys were so excited about it. Either way that movie really ,SQURILL!

Woo hoo for the great wait times!!! That is awesome!

MIL is great to try everything at least once! :thumbsup2

I was so shocked by the short waits in the middle of the day. There were alot of people in the park so I don't know where they were all hiding. Maybe they were mesmerized by the brazilian guides little flag?

OMG your MIL's reactions were hilarious, good on her for going on them and also for not thinking you were trying to kill her off :rotfl:

just doing some catch-up!

oh, and HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!!!! so sorry i missed it. hope it was a great one! :flower3:

When Bolt came out I was really excited because Rhino was with him! I love Rhino!! Other than the dancing hippos from Fantasia, he's the only disney charcter shaped like me!

you are so silly! you are NOT shaped like a dancing hippo or an obese rodent!!!

great pics with rhino, by the way.

We stopped for a potty break and when I came out of the bathroom, D.Jay surprised me with the Belle! I was so happy! It almost makes me cry when I look at it . D.Jay is the best!

so sweet!!!

When it came time for dessert, this is what he brought her....

DSC01439.jpg

:scared: yuck! that reminds me of the "friends" episode where rachel attempts to make an english trifle and puts beef in it!

He re-named her Miss sassy elbow's diva.

i'm hoping you still call her that.

I mentioned earlier, so what if it's been 3 months, that we let the kids take turns using our other camera.

Bailie had it the first day and here's some of her pics.....

bailie has quite the eye for photography! :thumbsup2

this is great!

Here's one of the dances Hunter did for competition. They performed for our spring festival last week. He is the far left, back row.
The little guy in the front row looks so lost! He didn't go to competition with them for obvious reasons. LOL He's in there because his mom makes him,

that was so awesome! i loved it. tell hunter great job. my twin uncles do a blues brothers routine and i just love them!

DSC01491.jpg

we bought this picture so she could use it for her christmas cards.

:rotfl2: i really hope that's true because that would rock.

If was so freakin' cold!! If some one had told me that a spaceship had come to earth and transported Disney World to the north pole, I think I would have believed them. It was CCCCCCCCOOOOOOOLLLLDDD!!

sounds like you guys had the kinda day we did at DHS in december. in the morning and the evening it was around 40 degrees.....IN FLORIDA!!!!! :confused3

OMG your MIL's reactions were hilarious, good on her for going on them and also for not thinking you were trying to kill her off :rotfl:
I think she might have thought I was trying to give her a heart attack....but we all know I'd never do that. I'm too sweet.:cutie:

I'm to lazy to break that into sections, so.........

1- Thanks! D.Jay got me another Precious Moments Belle!
2- Yes I am slightly shaped like an overweight rodent...or atleast my hips are.
3-rhino was hysterical!
4-we were impressed by alot of the pictures the kids took...who knew they were so good at it? Not me because I'm a camera hog!
5-Hunter says thanks! I think all the screaming girls when he performs is giving him a big ego.....
6-When I think "florida" I think sunshine and blue skies....freezing isn't what I imagined.

Where is our place of residence for the next week. Not on this side of the resort.

100_5728.jpg

We're not turning back. We're going to keep on going to the parks.

100_5759.jpg

I can't even remember where this was taken at. Anyone?? Anyone? Bueler?

100_5764.jpg

Probably taken in the same area.

100_5765.jpg

Just being silly in a place that you can be silly.

100_5767.jpg

One of the "maintenance crew" that we watched while Cherie and Bailie went to get Cherie a jacket. Notice the people in the background and the kid in the stroller. All wearing jackets. It was THAT cold. WAIT!! This is FLORIDA. What is going on?????:headache:

100_5770.jpg

There is another picture that Hunter took that has the moon in the same picture. He is such a photographer!!

He caught another two things you normally don't pay attention to:

It is quite interesting to see what the kids see. There's quite a bit more to come.:wizard:

yay! really excited to see a new post from you! i really enjoyed it!
LOL at your husband!! :happytv:

After my kids had a little nature lesson from the ducks, we loaded onto the boat to take us to the international gateway.

For some reason whenever you get out on water, it's automaticaly 20 degrees colder.....I'd never really noticed it before.

We all huddled together and enjoyed the ride. I did love to see the resorts and dream of maybe staying at one of them some day.

We decided to head for France and the pasterie place.....that's what we call it.
Here's a couple of shots when we got there....

I wonder where Hunter gets his goofy poses from?
DSC01503.jpg

We decided to use our quick service in France. It was the best use of those points ever!!

Ethan had an interesting way of eating his dessert.....

DSC01509.jpg

After snarfing down our pasteries along with a little quice or ham and cheese croisant, we headed for Yahct club marina for the surprise.
We were going on an Illuminations Cruise!!
I had spent a night wide awake worried that I'd over sleep and not get my call in at 4 a.m. on the dot to reserve this.

So, following the directions I'd gotten, we reported at the marina at 8......just to be told to come back in 30 minutes.:confused3

We were all so cold by this point that I was tempted to just scrap it, but I would have been out alot of money, so we treked into the Yahct Club to wait.

As soon as my rowdy group entered those doors, I was sure we would be found out and kicked out. We sat down in the lobby and I spent the next 30 minutes telling the kids to please act with some decorum and not embarass their mother. I think all mother's know this technique, I use it mostly in church but it did come in hady here. While painting on your sweetest smile you threaten your kids through your clinched teeth that they had better behave themselves, or else.

Ater 30 minutes we headed back to the marina where we got to wait outside for another 10 minutes. By this time I know parts of my body were starting to solidify....I had visions of my fat cracking off and bouncing away. I got a little excited thinking that maybe I'd discovered a cure for cellulite.;)

The kids had to put on life vests before we boarded the boat....Hunter and Ethan had a little fun....

DSC01514.jpg

Look! I have proof that they love eachother!!!!!

DSC01511.jpg

It's amazing what freezing will drive you too!

DSC01517.jpg

Sure enough, as soon as we pulled out into the lake it got a heck of alot colder and I began to question my sanity. We were all trying to make the best of it. We huddled together as close as possible.

On the boat we had bags of chips and a cooler of pop. I couldn't believe that the kids still could drink it when it was so cold out!

Our boat putted into place under the bridge between England and France to view the show.

It was alot of fun, but I have to admit that you don't bet the whole effects of the lights going off and on around the lagoon.

I'm so glad we did it, but I don't think I'll do it again. Of course, had we not been human popsicles I probably would have enjoyed it alot more.

Our guide was really good and told us a ton of information, which I remember absolutley none of.

By the time we got back to the marina we high tailed it back to the yahct club to catch a cab back to our resort. I was a little leary about taking a taxi, considering the only time I'd ever used them, turned out to be a road trip through hell.

Luckily, we had a great driver who got us "home" without getting lost or making me fear for our lives. And the $13 was well worth it to not have to trek through epcot and catch a bus in the mayhem after Illuminations.

We were all still so cold and tired as we walked to the room and of course our little flat friend Phil was still smooshed on the side walk. Nothing says disney magic like a dead frog flattened mid hop.;)

up next......get me the prozac!!!

That title is classic, Cherie!!! :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

I can almost feel the cold just reading about it! The Illumination pics are gorgeous! What a neat experience to see the fireworks from the water!

:rotfl2::rotfl2: I can't believe how cold it was!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
It had dropped to 25 on the first 2 nights I was there.

We are thinking about doing a cruise for our next magical gathering, It will be in march. Maybe a Wishes cruise.

Hunter is so funny, great goofy photos.

Great update!:thumbsup2
