As God as my witness.I'll never be sick at Disney World again~~~wrapping things up...

Cherie, you are NOT shaped like the rodent! Great update - loved the light sabre moment.

Peed on costume - :rotfl2:

DJay, how sweet and attentive you are!

Ok. My side of the story. There are times in a guy's life that he must bend to the .... hang on. Not correct. When Cherie shows interest in something and it's a "gotta make it happen Kodak moment," I try to make it happen. :goodvibes In this case, I knew Cherie fell in love with that particular figurine by her facial expression, the way she gingerly touched it (a "my precious" moment), and the huge inhale of air followed by "Hey Deeg. Look at this!!!" What can I do? The time and place were correct. I wasn't going to let a "he needs to get you a new ring" moment pass me by again.
For those of you who don't know, when Cherie and I went to DW the first time on our own, we went to see the princesses and take pictures. As we approached Aurora, she saw Cherie's ring, asked how long we were married, and suggested I get her a new ring. Unbeknownst to her and Aurora, in our room at POP, I had a new ring I was going to give Cherie at DW, I was just waiting for the right moment. The problem was the ring was still at the resort, not in my hand. :scared: A perfect moment wasted.

So, short story long, I try not to miss those moments anymore. So far I seem to be batting 1000 on that level.:cloud9:

Awwwwwwwww that is soo sweet. Even though you didn't have the ring it still gave me chills when I read it. Did you give it to her that night?

I'm so glad you got the figurine! I want one too!! Rhino looks fun (not so much Bolt though). Bailee's expression is priceless!
You can always tell what bailie is feeling....she hasn't learned the art of smiling even tho you want to strangle someone....I guess that's something that comes with motherhood.:rotfl:

Wowww Impressive!!! Do you give husband lessons??? :rotfl:
Bolt wasn't out when we were there last....I'm looking forward to being able to meet them...my kids love that show.
Let's not give D.Jay's ego too much of a boost, he won't be able to fit through the door!
He is a really good husband!

Wow, Cherie. You have an awesome husband.
I know.....I picked good, considering I got married when I was 18! Yikes, I will lock bailie in a closet if she decides to get married right out of high school!

:thumbsup2 Love the pictures. I am sorry I missed you when you were in Utah. :goodvibes
Me too! It would have been great to get together again, I'll probably be down sometime this summer too!

Hamster-shaped: Nope :sad2:
Good dude husband: Yep :thumbsup2
Awesome update: You betcha! :goodvibes
I could put on the rhino costume and not need any of the stuffing!

Awww, Cherie, give him a kiss from all of us! His mother has really done a lot right! (So, give her a kiss too!).
Has this turned into a D.Jay love fest??? :rotfl2:

Jenny has started her trip. Better hurry or she's going to pass you up.:rolleyes1
uhoh....I can't have her finishing before me!!

so I have longer limbs than Rhino.;)

again, all the D.Jay love is going to make him impossible to live with!!

It was time for the long awaited adr at 50's Prime time! We all love this place and were looking forward to seeing Mil's reaction to it.
One thing I have noticed is if you get a great sever it's 10x's better.
We got the best "cousin" ever! He was hillarious and really gave Bailie a hard time!

When he first walked up i noticed his tag said "Jamal South Africa". But when he opened his mouth he sounded more like Jamal from boston.
I asked him about it and he said he forgot his name tag so just grabbed another one.:rotfl2:

I'm not sure what's going on here.....looks like mil is asking a question..

Everyone ordered a shake to begin with, they are so good there!

"Jamal" gave Ethan a hard time because he was drinking his shake too fast, so he gave me the rest of it...

Then he knocked bailie's elbows off the table and called her "sassy elbows".

He teased Ethan a little more.....

After we had our meals and were eating a couple were seated right behind us...somehow evan struck up a conversation with them...They had never been there before, so he was explaining things to them.
"Jamal" walked up and told him to get to work. So evan had to set their table and explain everything to them. It was great!

"Jamal" nick named Hunter shaggy ( he didn't get it so I had to explain who shaggy from scooby doo is).
Hunter wasn't eating his green beans so "jamal" told him to eat them or get a hair cut.

During this whole time He and Bailie had been giving eachother a hard time...she was loving it!

When it came time for dessert, this is what he brought her....

It was the rest of her chicken pot pie with whip cream and sprinkles!
She refused to eat it so he tried to drag her into "time out"

He was by far our favorite "cousin". I was trying to write down everything funny he said or did, but I couldn't keep up! It was great to see someone give Bailie a hard time! He re-named her Miss sassy elbow's diva.

up next....Al Gore is a loon.....

That meal sounds hilarious, your kids are also now at the perfect age to actually get it, when we went one of mine ended up crying because they thought they were really going to get told off :rotfl:

I love it!!

We went her in 2002 and middle child was in the 8th grade. She got picked on the most. We're going back next month. I hope we get a good "cousin" like you did.

That looked/sounded like sooooooooooo much fun! I wish I could fit that restaurant into our list, but dh has asked for Sci Fi for our DHS day pirate:

I love your pictures - they make me smile! :goodvibes

Awwwwwwwww that is soo sweet. Even though you didn't have the ring it still gave me chills when I read it. Did you give it to her that night?

Yes, I did give it to her that night when we got back to the resort.

50's was a blast! Bailie refused to have a picture taken with our "cousin" so he decided to help us get one with him. When Bailie refused to go into time out, he sat in her chair so that she couldn't sit down. She had to stand for a few minutes while he talked with the rest of the family.

If anyone gets the chance to go there, I would encourage it. We had a great time there.

Oh I would love to get a server like him!! The last time we were there we had an "ok" server...not nearly as good as you described here!

Great report!!

Sassy elbows and chicken potpie with whipped cream and sprinkles??? I LOVE IT!!! :rotfl: This is the best time at 50's that I have read about!

I'm jealous because we missed Bolt and Rhino! Great pic's and interaction you guys got!!

We absolutely love 50's. Looks like MIL had a great first experience. *SIGH* Oh how I wish some family would come with us so we can play "host/hostess" and show them a good time in our favorite places.

DJay, the figurine and the ring story totally made me cry. You totally rock!! :)

In all of my trips to Disney World I still have not eaten at that restaurant. It's going to have to go on the list for our next trip.

How funny! The waiter really got Bailie with that awful "dessert"! I would love to go there next trip, but I don't think our friends' little girl would do too well with the teasing--maybe we'll have to split up that day from their family!

We have never been to 50's Prime Time. It looks and sounds like a lot of fun. DH is super shy so I don't know if I could get him to go.

oh no! that's so sad!

Having a good "cousin" makes a big difference!

That looked/sounded like sooooooooooo much fun! I wish I could fit that restaurant into our list, but dh has asked for Sci Fi for our DHS day pirate:
I haven't been to sci fi yet. It just doesn't seem worthy of one of my precious ddp credits.

That looks so much fun!!! I'm very curious to see what your next entry is about!
;)popcorn::

Great report!!
My kids like to do things to provoke our server....elbows on the table, flying missles made of paper.....basically anything to get attention.

Sassy elbows and chicken potpie with whipped cream and sprinkles??? I LOVE IT!!! :rotfl: This is the best time at 50's that I have read about!

Bringing family with you has it's good and bad points. So don't feel too sad!

yes, you should!

My sides hurt from laughing so hard when he brought that dessert out and plopped it in front of her! I only wish I had gotten a picture of her face when she first realized what it was!

I think the servers can tell if you want them to give you a hard time or not. They've always picked on our kids. Maybe that's why I like it so much!
