As a mother, that pains my heart also. I can't even imagine what the families are going through. I just found out that dd's after school spanish teacher was absent for a week (I thought she was on spring break) because her cousin was shot and killed in the war. Unfortunately, dd couldn't remember his name except that it started with an "F". So sad.
