It is proposed that there should be NEW Cabin Luggage Size

The IATA is proposing the Reducing the size of carry on luggage to

New 21.5 inches Long X 13.5 inches Wide X 7.5 inches Deep

( Old 22.0 inches X 16.0 inches X 8.0 inches )

A Co . called "OKOBAN " is working on the details.

Yes, the IATA suggested it, but US airlines aren't going for it.

Airlines 4 America, the US airline lobby group, announced this week that no US airlines were supporting the proposal by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). In a June 17 press release, A4A’s CEO Nicholas E. Calio called the initiative “unnecessary.”
