Yesterday I stumbled upon an artist signing event at the Gallery at the top of Main Street (across from City Hall). When I walked in, there were a number of Disney paintings on display and a considerable line of guests. I spoke with a CM and she explained that Disney artist Dirk Wunderlich was doing a signing of a number of his works. Apparently this is something they do regularly l however I’ve never seen it.
Generally, crowds were good in the morning. I met up with a good friend and her family who was visiting the park for four days, which was really nice. I think towards the end of their trip they didn’t much mind having to board the plane today ;-). I’ve felt that way many times at the end of a visit to NYC.
Buzz scores were kind of broken in the morning. For my first few rides, regardless of what I hit, my score would only be around 4,700. Later, though, they seemed to work again. On my last ride, I grabbed 1,981,000. Ad often happens, I was unhappy with that score because I could have broken 2M but I lost track of my mental count. Oh well.
Just a few pics this time. I’ve got map sets if anyone would like one mailed to them. Simply DM me.
ETA: Met a nice mom and her daughters visting from Dallas at the rope and we helped them to make the line for PP. We were first from the rope and I wanted to give them our spot so they'd be first but it was my friend's bday and she really wanted it for herself, which was fair. What was particularly interesting was that this woman was a federal judge (found out during our discussion while in line for PP). She went to Harvard for law school. I was suitably impressed.
Pics.
