We are doing a Signature Dining on our last night and I have an ADR for Artist Point. It would be easy to eat in our resort and get packed up. The bad side is that I'm not too keen on the menu. Do you think I should switch to Narcoossee's?

Which would you choose AP or Narcoossee's?

I have done both and enjoyed both. Narcosses is my favorite because I like seafood but I think Artist pointe has a beter selection of unusual things you can't find at every restaurant. I would go for Artist point.

Never been to AP can't speak for it. But Narcoossee's is awesome :thumbsup2 Loved the food & the view.

I've been to both and was much more impressed with AP than Narcoossee's. I thought the Narcoossee's food was good, but decidedly average with a pretty above average price. I thought AP was better and a better value for the money.

We went to both this past summer. We thought that Narcoossee's was the best meal we'd ever had anywhere. We were extremely disappointed with Artist Point. Although the food was pretty good, our service was terrible.

BTW- I love that everyone on the boards have such different opinions. It helps me to remember that I may as well try everything once & form my own opinion!

We enjoy both places, but Narcoossee's is our all time favorite WDW restaurant!!!We go everytime. I love the atmosphere and the food is sooo fresh and delicious. We have always had terrific service as well.

We've done both and you won't be disappointed with either. For us though, AP is always the choice because of its different menu, wine list, and the overall ambiance of the room.

Artist Point has been one of the top restaurants on Disney property since the day they opened their doors. Chef Al is outstanding, the management is outstanding, service is excellent and the food..well, outstanding also.

Eat at AP...we have taken so many people there, friends, family and it quickly becomes a favorite of everyones.

LOL thanks for the thread I just had the same decision, my hubby and I are doing our anniversary dinner Fri night of our trip and I originally booked at AP but changed my mind and booked Narcosses instead, mainly because of the menu and some pics of the food from this site. I had a reservation rep tell me many people are unhappy with the food at AP I think it just depends on taste.
I like that we have a 9pm reservation and Narcooses is the best place to watch the fireworks on the deck and they pipe the music in too :)

Ask for Stephanie for your server. She is fabulous! You can read my review of our meal on the review page.

We loved the unique selection of food and the atmosphere.

We did Narcoossee's too and food wise it was as good as or better than AP, but the service while excellent, lacked the "warm fuzzy" we had at AP and the whole atmosphere at The GF, like CR and California Grill, is just a little bit too "uppity" for us.

I have never been to Narcoossee's so I can't comment on it but I have been to AP twice. The food is good but I don't think it's worth 2 ts credits. Since you said you weren't keen on the AP menu then try Narcoossee's. I happen to think Califormia Grill and Yatchsman are way better then AP but that's my opinion:thumbsup2
