Actually Biglots has their's on 50% off right now. WalMart will most likely wait till the day after Christmas, probably the same for Target.

A couple of years ago I bought mine at Target around the 15th of January. It was 90 % off. It looks great. My neighbors, who just bought a $600 Christmas tree, always comment on how good it looks (don't have the hear to tell them I paid less than $25). The key with any artificial tree is to spend the time spreading out the branches.

Our Target is also already 50% off. I'd start looking now.

Places I'd not have thought of (but actually where I got our tree- cant' remember which one it was)- Lowe's and Home Depot. I got our first week of Jan, but seems things are being moved out quicker this year. I was just at Walmart and all the Valentine cards and candy are out.

I got my eye on a couple at Lowes right now. I've looked at BigLots (50%) and still watching the Lowes trees (50%) off now. Hoping for 75% off soon. OP are you looking for a pre-lite or not. Do some research now and what you might want to get. I want something fuller, so need at least 1200 tips or greater and 600 lights or greater.

I got a really pretty 7 ft prelit slimline at Target for 75% off after Christmas last year. I think Target, Walmart, Lowe's, and Home Depot all have good prices the day or two after Christmas.

Target had boxed trees 50% off today and the display trees were 75% off.

I got one last year for my mom for $2.50 the day after Christmas at Target.

I got one last year at KMart around January 15th. It is a GE prelit and very full. The price on the box was $259.99, but I got it for $26! Does anyone pay $260 for a tree?

If you want a really nice high quality tree for a big more money, Lighthouse Pools has all trees 50% off. We almost bought one today, but DH and my mom are going to go the day after christmas instead and see whats left.

I got mine 2 yrs ago at home depot for 40.00 ,it is a 9 1/2 ft prelit tree! It is so pretty.We had a 6 ft prelit and this one looks GIANT lol we had to buy lots more ornaments for it so when we went to wdw we got tons of disney ornaments for 50 and 75 % off so our tree is 90% mickey!
