Yes, unfortunately we found that out yesterday when we were checking out. That's twice now the kids have missed him.

I saw Art several days ago and he is doing great! He said his health is fine now and to tell everyone that he is so appreciative of all our thoughts and prayers. That meant so much to him as he was recuperating last year. He also said he knows he is "blessed" to be doing something he loves to much. And I think he finally 'gets it' -- just how much everyone loves him!

I was there a few years ago and for some unknown reason we started to salute each other. The last few years we have been staying at OKW. This january I am going to have to stop by to say hi.

I'm staying at BCV this coming january and I can't wait to meet such a great guy! After reading about him here on the Dis, to me, Art seems like the epitome of Disney. If there is such a thing as Employee of the Year, Art had better have won it repeatedly!

Art truly is perfectly suited for his position! He was the sweetest man. My daughter was speaking with him throughout our stay and would update Art on her progress in trading for all the baby princess pins. When she finally completed her set, she went up to him to show him that she finally got Ariel, her favorite princess. He congratulated her and talked to her about her find for a little while. Then he discretely asked DH how to spell her name and said he would be back shortly. (We were waiting to be seated at Cape May). He went behind a closed door and after 10-15 mins or so, he found DH and gave him an autographed personalized photo of Ariel for my DD. It was so sweet and certainly unexpected. He went above and beyond to make DD feel special and was truly appreciated. Disney should be proud to have an employee representing them like he does.

I went to BCV to see the Gingerbread carousel earlier this month and was lucky enough to see Art and have a lovely chat with him. I told him my DH and I would be staying at the villas in late January and he was saying how he'll be on the lookout for us. Very sweet.

I finally got to meet Art this past weekend when I was there for the marathon! And what an ordeal it was to meet him! Just as I got there a bunch of convention people were walking through on their way to somewhere and they were so rude! I was waiting patiently while Art was giving some directions on where they needed to go, but more and more kept coming up and cutting in front of me! I guess they thought that my picture with Art wasn't as important as them! then a woman who works for Disney came over with a group of 15 more people to ask where to go! You'd think someone who worked for Disney would know where to send them! But, she did save me from having to be interrupted by 15 more conventioners!

Art was great and thanked me very much for my patience!

We've missed seeing Art on our last few trips (when Art was sick, and then it was his day off on our last trip ) but we just booked our summer trip at BCV and DS11 is thrilled that he'll finally get to see Art again
