We are staying at the new Worldmark Anahiem resort in December, while it looks walkable to DL, given our group, 4 adults and 2 kids, I suspect we may want to use ART or grab a cab at times. So my questions are :
1. are there cabs that hold 6? (maybe a van) are they more expensive?
2. how much would cab fare be?
3. does ART stop closeby?

The new resort is at 201 West Katella Ave.

thanks

Looking at the map, your hotel is a little over a mile away. That would actually be quite a long hike to and from the park...especially from the park after walking around all day. (If you are park-hopping, you will be walking 5-8 miles just while you are at the parks, in addition to standing on line for rides).

I would highly recommend the ART over a cab. I would think that WorldMark has probably arranged to either be a stop for the ART or that it is next door to a stop. Your resort will probably have ticket machines in the lobby or just outside. There are multi-day tickets available, as well, and the prices are not unreasonable. The "trolleys" run frequently throughout the day and pull into a loading zone at DL off of Harbor Blvd. You can get more information at rideart.org

I can't stress enough that you should all wear really good walking shoes, and it doesn't hurt to take an extra pair of socks for each person and stash them in a locker, along with Band-Aid blister bandages. Change your socks after lunch and your feet will thank you!

Good luck, and hope you have a great time!:flower3:
