Hi! Looking to explore a new (to us) resort for a short stay with 2-3 park days (DHS, AK, and maybe MK) Nov 29-30. We are a family of 4 with two girls ages 10 & 7.
I love the idea of the theming of AOA, having two bathrooms (!!), and being on the Skyliner. I think the kids would love it. We would probably use the Skyliner when convenient, as we usually use a rideshare to get to and from the parks to save time (especially in the morning). We would definitely spend a few hours (out of 3 days) at the pool (likely would go once, MAYBE twice).
Also considering the Beach Club for 1) proximity to DHS (not visiting EP this trip), 2) Stormalong, and 3) whatever perks e.g. extra evening hours come with a Deluxe stay by that time. That said, the cost is $650 more for 3 nights. BW Standard view is $270 more than AOA and accomplishes 2 of the 3, but we stayed there once last year and I did not love the theming and the hotel seemed tired.
Thoughts? Help me choose!
