Do the Mermaid Rooms in Art of Animation come stocked with bowls and utensils? My kids prefer just eating cereals or oatmeal for breakfast so just wanted to make sure there are bowls they can eat out of! Thanks!

Nope, Little Mermaid rooms are standard hotel rooms. No kitchenette, no extras, no coffee maker.

We brought our own because the food court had crockery and we didn't see paper plates there either.

No.
LM rooms are just standard resort rooms.
They are not suites.
You can always bring either enough plastic cereal bowls with you and some spoons and wash them in the sink or what I would probably do is just bring some disposable bowls and spoons.

We always bring a pack of disposable bowls, spoons, napkins, and a small bottle of dish soap to wash out refillable mugs(also handy to treat any grease stains on clothes!). We also fly SW, so we can bring an extra bag for these items and some snacks that travel well(order the rest from Garden Grocer), and then have room for souvineers on the way back.
