Art of Animation- Little Mermaid Rooms

So I'm regretting this, but we booked the Little Mermaid room bc I didn't think we needed a family suite since we literally never spend time at the resort. But now I'm second guessing myself. How far is the walk from the bus to the rooms? It's probably too late to switch bc we go in less than a month... but curious if I should even bother trying or if the walk isn't TOO bad.

It’s a pretty far walk, I’ve stayed in these rooms once before. My husband and I didn’t mind since we have no children and are in fairly decent shape, but the bus is still a ways from the Little Mermaid area.

It’s a walk I don’t want to do again. But we go in August when it is super hot and humid. It probably won’t bother you too much in early November, as the weather gets a bit cooler.

I stayed in the LM rooms in 2018 with my daughters, who were 8 and 10 at the time. The walk was not an issue at all. I was honestly shocked once we did it that people complained about it. Maybe because we're used to POR which is not only a longer walk to most places but also never a straight shot? My kids loved the walk through the LK section and we were at our room relatively quickly, with never a complaint from the kids even after a long day at the parks.

It is a noticably longer walk. Did it with DS when he was 4. I did not bring a stroller. He was a trooper. But even I was wishing we were closer to bus stop and main building when we would be coming back after a long day. We didn't let it ruin our vacation. But I also have no plans to take Little Mermaid rooms again.
