Ok,... are these rooms noisy? has anyone stayed ground floor or top floor, and which is the quietest. I haven't stay at a value since my kids were small, they are 20 and 24. My daughter has loved the little mermaid and Disney all her life and wished it was there when she was small. Let me say this, we stay normally club level deluxe resorts, I think the Art of animation resort is rather adorable looking though. We are doing the deluxe dining plan to make this more a signature restaurant relaxed trip. My concern is the noise level of the kids running around on the outside corridors, that's why I wonder if ground level would be better or worse if the people above us have active jumpy kids. Top floor no one would be below us "but" loud outside corridor noise could happen. Maybe a corner room? Just thinking out loud on paper and your expert suggestions for the greatest success in a quiet room request would be greatly appreciated...

I am a sound sleeper, yet LM are the only rooms where I've had noise issues. We were on 3rd floor and I think that was a good bit of the problem, I would definitely go for TOP floor. Too much traffic outside ground floor.

Just got home today. We stayed on the ground floor in building 9 near the pool (corner room). Out of 7 nights, there were maybe 2 or 3 that we heard people. It was people walking by talking. And, that would be one time per night. It didn't bother us at all.

The bigger concern that you might have is how small the LM rooms are.

Yikes!!!!!! This a child oriented themed resort,I get that, but the noise needs to be as minimal as I can try to get it. Thank you so much for your reply:thumbsup2

Yeah, the size is also a concern, but we'll bring a full air mattress and hopefully that will fit near the door area... we will be out of the room all day soooo sleeping and getting ready in the morning is what the room will be mostly used for. Fingers crossed here :woohoo:... So I have one vote for the top, and one vote for the bottom, I think the corner room request is very smart.... Thank you :thumbsup2

Can't wait for our vacation! Daughter and I are staying here end of July. This is our first time staying on Disney property.:woohoo:

I don't think that a full size blow up will fit. To give you an idea, we had trouble fitting our jogging stroller through the door with the bed being right there. We would stay there again in a heartbeat, though.

I am not sure that a twin would even fit, either.

WOW, you were't kidding, 260 sq feet, we'd kill each other by the end of the 11day trip:rotfl2:, switched over my ressie to Coronado Springs.... A bit more room and queen beds.... for us it was better fit, my kids are big chooches, not kiddies anymore... thanks so much for the heads up:thumbsup2.BTW, no air mattresses allowed in the mermaid standard rooms
