I am currently looking around to see if anyone has ever been apart of Disney's Internship program. I am currently looking for an opportunity to internship somewhere in my senior year of college, and found through google Disney's internship program.

I am working on my bachelor's degree towards Art Technology (Graphic Design, Video, Audio), and am looking for a company to put what I have been learning through college and life into use. Has anyone been apart of Disney's Internship program, or heard about it from anyone? Is there ever any summer internship positions, or is it usually just fall/spring term?

Looking forwards to some answers. Thanks in advance.

I'm heading into an animal programs PI on Thursday so I don't know a ton of details about arts and graphics. I would suggest emailing the PI coordinators and asking them your questions. I did that in the past when I was getting ready to apply and they were also prompt and very nice. You can email them at:
wdpr.professional.interns@disney.com

maybe a program like the disney animation internship. I would put a link but I don't have enough posts to do that yet but you can google it. Also try looking into the walt disney studios internship. I think these ones are in the summer and the thing about these programs is that you don't actually have to do the WDW/ Disney College program first or at all. My concern though is that I know for Walt Disney Studios it says something about being in your sophomore or junior year. I hope that helps.

You should go to DisneyCareers.com, then to openings, then under the Job Posting Category choose "Internships / Associates / Co-ops." The college program isn't the only internship program at Disney - I've done one internship at the Walt Disney Studios and another at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts (Global Business Technology Strategy).

For internships for the summer, I'd suggest looking starting in October or November. They'll probably close the applications in late December or early January, and start contacting people in February. At least that was my experience with the Studios.

At a glance now, there are plenty of opportunities with applications up that apply to your field, for example:

Disney Interactive Media Group, Undergraduate, Art Associate – 6 months
Disney Consumer Products, Undergraduate Associate: Creative Graphic Design Intern
Disney Consumer Products, Undergraduate Associate: “Culture of Innovation” Website Development
Disney Consumer Products, Undergraduate Associate, Global Creative: Character Art Intern

And those are just the ones up now. A while ago there was a neat Imagineering one about documenting all the signs the parks in Florida and possibly suggesting new signs that fit in the character of the area. There are also usually more game art internships from Disney Online Studios, and web development ones for ESPN and ABC.

I hope this was helpful!
