Hi!

We are cruising in 2 weeks with another family that forgot to do their on-line check in until I asked them about it last week. They got at 1:30 PAT. My family has a 10:30 PAT and we were planning on sharing a private car service. Will they be able to enter the terminal with us? They are fine waiting in the terminal for a while if they need to but not on the curb. Thanks for your advice!

It all depends on how crowded the terminal is. If it is really crowded they may be asked to not enter but I have not seen this happen to anyone. Your actual boarding number is tied to your PAT so they will have a later boarding number then you. They usually start boarding between 11:15-11:30 with open boarding usually starting around 12:30 so they should be able to board by 12:30 or so.

Best answer - maybe. If the terminal is busy when you arrive (and it's before their PAT), they may be asked to wait until either the terminal is less full or their PAT, whichever occurs first. Or the CM at the door may allow all of you to enter.

I will point out that the actual boarding numbers each of your reservations will get is tied to that PAT. So it's likely that they will have a higher boarding number than you do. DCL requests that those groups with multiple boarding numbers, who wish to board together, wait until the highest number is called.

That being said, there is a slight chance that the CM collecting the boarding numbers may let the other group board at the same time as you. MAYBE. It depends on how many more people there are in the group that is supposed to board later, as well as whether the CM will allow it.

Great post.

Thanks for your replies. I will let them know of the possibilities and let them decide to try or not. They are fine with spending extra time within the terminal but want to avoid the curb! Lol! We are a family of 5 and they are also a family of 5.
