Arriving Nov. 8th... what to expect crowd wise? Jersey week vs Veterans Day week?

We've been to WDW 20+ times, but never in mid November. I know Jersey week is the first full week of November, so we'll be arriving on the tall end of that. But how does Veteran's day on the 11th typically effect crowds the second full week of November? Should we expect similar crowds as Jersey week? Also weather wise... I know you can still get in the 80's, but does it ever get cold enough to want hoodies, etc. very often? TIA!

I’ve been several times during that time - usually very warm - crowds can be heavy on weekends at EPCOT real heavy - other parks varies - I’ve never felt it was too much and I’ve done Spring Break & Christmas and it’s nothing Like that !!
Have a great time I’ll be there too!!

We arrive on the 9th. We honeymooned at Disney in 2018 around the same time and didn't notice any crazy crowds (except for fireworks at MK) but I am interested in hearing a more current perspective. Just a few things come to mind about our last trip there. The parks close earlier, which can be a bummer, but you also get the added benefit of everything being all lit up because it's dark early. We had hot weather and needed sweatshirts by the end of the week. I actually bought a really cute toque that I still wear every winter.

We used to go Jersey Week when our kids were in school. We would take them out for Monday through Wednesday and stay through Sunday. It used to be great but we felt it got more and more crowded each year we went. We try not to go that week anymore.

Veterans Day is supposed to be really crowded but maybe because it’s a Monday most people will be traveling home that day. We will be there that weekend but starting our trip on the Saturday and not going to the parks on weekends, just weekdays. Like I said we are hoping Veterans Day isn’t that crowded this year and hopefully more of a travel day. HOPEFULLY.

The weather is usually beautiful. Hot enough for the pool and water rides. I always bring a light hoodie for indoors most times anyway. I think only once we went and it was very cold. We bought hoodies and jackets because we didn’t expect the evening hours to be so cold. But usually we get away with shorts and skorts and light hoodies. Just check the weather before you go so you know what to pack.

Ponchos or rain jackets are a must also. Last time we went it was downpours.

Have fun!!

We did Jersey week twice and once the end of the week also went into Veterans Day that Sunday. It was mayhem at Epcot that weekend which was also the end of Food and Wine. We had to leave because the crowds in WS felt like they were dangerous. I think I’d you avoid Epcot you’ll be ok. The crowds will be there but I feel like Epcot was the worst.

DH & and I are going for a long weekend Nov 2-4, staying at BC and only going to Epcot. We planned on going to Epcot on Sunday the 3rd. But after reading this thread, it has me wondering if we should go on Monday the 4th instead. We picked the 3rd since we could enjoy pool time the day before and after Epcot. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

So the first week in November has heavy crowds, but the second week is generally much slower?

Epcot on weekends, even Sundays, during F&W is too full of people drinking around the world for us to even think of going there. I'd definitely wait until Monday if I could.

I don’t follow crowd calendars or the whole “don’t do MK on a Monday” and all the little nuisances people swear by. But I don’t go to Epcot WS on the weekend during a festival. I will do FW in the morning but that’s it.

I will admit last trip we walked through WS to get to GOtG on the weekend and I didn’t feel much difference from the weeknight we were there.
