Arriving Feb 1st- Want to be friends?

I'm doing merchandising as well, but I don't know where I'll be placed, hopefully in MK though! What about you guys?:)

I'm 18! and I think I want to be at Epcot of DHS :) But I'm sure no matter what, it will be so much fun!

If my username isn't enough of a hint, I'm Michael. :)

I'll be in Attractions, and hoping for MK or DHS. I'm 20 and anything else you want to know, you can probably find in the "Roommate" thread, or just ask. I'm anticipating arriving in Orlando a day or two before the 1st (have family and friends in the area), so if you're going early and anyone is up for it, some fun at Universal may be in order.

Oh, I'm 20 :) And I'm hoping to be placed either in MK or AK, though really anything is good with me.

And I wasn't sure on exactly when I'm coming down but Universal sounds like a dang good idea.

Heh, I'm 20 too and I'll be working in merchandise at MK or HS... ah, I wonder if we'll meet each other, Wishes Count! :)

I like the idea of betraying Disney just for a day...

I like the idea of getting together the day before. I know in the past a bunch of people went out to eat the night before. That way they got to know some people and found people they wanted to stand in line with to be roomies in the morning.

I definitely think going to dinner or something would be a good way to start to get to know people! so if anyone's up for that i think it sounds like fun!

Hey guys, I'm Nicole and I will be doing Quick Service Food and Beverage unless if I get Entertainment.

I'm arriving February 1st too - I got the role of Character Performer! Mike - I'm from NW Indiana (Valpo). Hope to meet all of you in person! :)

I'll be arriving Feb. 1st also, working in resorts...traveling from Michigan State!! I don't know anyone working down there...nor have I ever been that far south!

So I'm watching the women's WAC volleyball championship at the moment and had an idea. Since it sounds like most everyone will have their second day free, if the weather is decently warm (mid-60s or higher) and dry and there are courts open/available, would there be interest in some volleyball? Obviously there's no way to plan much in advance for something that relies on the weather, but figured I might see if there's any interest. Of course, in a city like Orlando they may have public sports facilities. Anyone know if they do? If its rainy/cold and there are facilities, it could take place indoors if there's enough interest.
