Arriving Early.

We are going in October. We are driving down from chicago and allowing extra time for traffic or whatever may come. We are staying at AS Movies. At that time of year, if we were a day early, do we have a good shot at getting in there for the extra day/night? Even if we had to stay in different rooms the first night then move to our reserved rooms that would be fine. Any one ever done this?

I'm sure that if you arrived a day early and the resort had a room they'd let you stay there. Disney is always willing to take more of your money. However, you would have to pay rack rate and not any discount/code rate you've gotten for the other days. It's really not worth it to pay that price just to sleep. I'd stay at a motel nearby for less money and check into your resort early in the am.

If you are annual pass holders, you might have good luck getting that rate at the last minute. You'll never know until you try. However, be sure to call CRO not try to get that rate at checkin.

Also, I think they would try very hard to keep you in the same room.
