Arriving at Typhoon Lagoon a few hours late?

We will be going to TL for one day during our trip in August. (Third week of August) Anyway we will be doing our TL day the day after our MK day, because we will be staying so late in the MK the previous day. We will probably arrive around 11 or so. TL hours during that week are pretty much 9-7. Will it be a big problem to arrive a couple of hours after opening then? We usually arrive around 15 minutes after the parks open each morning, so this will be different. But with a 11 closing time at the MK the previous day and probably not getting back to the Yacht Club much later I know we won't want to get up early the following day.

Is it a weekday or a weekend? Many schools in the south are back in session by mid August so the crowds should lower. The weekends probably bring in the locals.

We went to Typhoon Lagoon on a weekday in August 2011. We got there at about 11:30am, and struggled to find good seats, or any space that offered any shade. After a while we were able to snap up a seat or two in the shade, but for us it was unpleasant having to sit in the humid sun for an hour or two beforehand.

I should think you will be fine, but prepare to have to search for seats. You may not find enough seats together either. We found three seats together (but needed 5) and made do for the day.
