Arriving at 9:30 pm at SNA. Don't want to prepay.

i hate prepaying....but would like to use my VISA when I arrive this Thursday at 9:30 pm. We have never had trouble in the past finding transportation, but this is later than we usually arrive (due to flight change....grrr).

Anyone know if this will be a problem?

Prepaying for what? A shuttle? I would imagine you could just grab a taxi.

Sorry...I mean for a transfer. We are a family of 5. Do taxis accommodate 5? All take credit cards?

Yes there are larger taxis that will take 5 people. Not sure if all take credit cards, but most do.

UberX picks up at SNA and you can request an XL vehicle to get one that seats 6 passengers.

We had a group of 6 last week, and we were able to get a taxi van. It was not problem at all, and less then a 5 minute wait.

Just take a cab - they run all the time and are only about $40 for a load of people and luggage.

There are plenty of taxis waiting in the taxi area at SNA. I've never seen a shortage of cabs there, and each time, I've seen at least one larger taxi van. You'll be fine at 9:30 pm. The last flights don't arrive at John Wayne until around 10:30 or so. There aren't any flights departing or arriving after 11:00 pm each day, so you're still within the normal airport hours.

follow the signs outside of baggage claim to the Taxi stand. There should be an attendant there. Tell him that you need a taxi for five, and they will get one for you.

Plenty of taxis on standby at SNA. Vans can easily take 5. Cost should be about $45 to DL. Almost all take CC, but just verify before you load up, if not...juts hop in the one behind them...their loss.

We just got a rental car (Small SUV Jeep Compass) at SNA last weekend for $55 for 3 days.
