Arriving at 2:30p.m. is a 6p.m. ADR too early?

Wondering what you all think. We are arriving at 2:30p.m. at the airport taking DME. I'd like to make an ADR for 6p.m. at Chef Mickey's. Do you think this is too early?

Also wondering what you think we should do afterwards. Seems silly to buy park tickets for that day, so I'm thinking about either watching Wishes from Contemporary (I've never done that before) or from the Poly Beach (we've done this before and loved it!). We have a boatload of kids... will have 5 with us ages 12- infant (including a toddler and pre-schooler).

Thanks!

Which resort are you staying at?? If you are near the CR, then you should make a 6pm ADR. Also, what time of year are you going? If your goal is to watch Wishes, and it isn't until 10pm, then a 6pm ADR will have you done by 8pm (at the VERY latest) and still give you 2 hours before Wishes starts.... that's a lot of time to hang around the hotel waiting.

We will be at All Star Music that day. I think Wishes will be at 8p.m. the day we are there (early Nov).

6:00 should be fine to make it with the usual disclaimers for late flights, accidents on the highway, etc.
