arrived today-can put your minds at ease about this flu

Well, we arrived this morning to a very overcast long beach...after our alaska air flight had to sit on the runway for an hour due to an electrical problem ...i hate flying at the best of times...Not once today, either at seatac or long beach airport, did we see anyone in masks or doing anything out of the ordinary- i was fully expecting to see this after watching the news all the time...we have wandered to downtown disney too, and it was definately busy....I am definately glad we didnt let this worry get in our way...we are here for 10 nights and are going to have a blast...just washing our hands a little extra ....

I saw maybe 5 people at DL this past week with masks. They were all tourists from out of the country.

Just wash your hands like normal!

Totally off topic, how was it flying into long beach, I am thinking of doing the same flight as you for my upcoming trip to DL. How long sis it take you to get from the airport to DL, what mode of transportation did you use to get to the airport?

thanks everyone!!! Today is a "catch up on sleep" morning (after a 5:30 am and then a 3:45 am morning)...We are gonna head out to breakfast, do some dtd shopping, and go to a movie, and hang by the pool..i think today is gonna be nicer and warmer than yesterday Tomorrow will be our first day in the parks-cant wait...thought about going in today, but would rather wait and go on a quieter day-but wow, is waiting hard!!!

Anyways, i just really had wanted to post about this, because it definately had me thinking before our trip, but i a sooooo happy i decided to not worry and have myself an amazing vacation...still, so far, nothing out of the ordinary i have seen....Here's to all of us vacationing and those that are joining me this week-YAH US!!!

We are planning on doing seaworld in the next 9 days, and am wondering is anyone has an idea to what day is a good day to do it....We are doing DL mon, tues, sun, mon (and another day) We have to do it on mothers day as it is my oldest dd 18th birthday-but i imagine the crowds will be crazy...
